You swirl your cup of juice in your hand, watching the colorful liquid spiral around as you wait for the game of seven minutes in heaven to start. This is what you come to parties for, the excitement of the games and the possibility of getting to kiss someone new.
At last the game starts, and the empty bottle in thrust into a blonde's hand across the circle. He gives the bottle a good spin, and it slows until finally stopping on...you.
The two of you look up from the bottle at each other, and you're relieved when he shoots you a warm smile before standing and approaching you, offering his hands out to you to help you up. The blonde pulls you to your feet, and the two of you are quickly ushered to a closet by some other partygoers. The door closes, and he's quick to break the silence in the darkness of the room.
"So, uh, I'm Togata Mirio." He introduces himself.
"I'm (Y/n)." You reply.
"Do you know the host?" He asks, trying to get to know you a little better. You go to shake your head, and then remember that he can't see you properly.
"No, but my friend does and they asked if I wanted to come, so I agreed for something to do. How about you?" You say.
"Nah, I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm always down to meet new people, especially if they're as pretty as you." Togata says, his voice lowering slightly at the last part.
You're grateful that he can't see the heat rising to your cheeks at his words.
"Well, I think you're pretty cute too." You mumble earnestly. Through the dark, you hear his breath hitch.
"C-can I kiss you, (y/n)?" He asks.
"Please." You whisper, and you hear rustling in front of you, then feel his hand gently caress your cheek. His skin is warm, and you can't help but lean your head into his touch. You hear him chuckle slightly at the action, his voice much closer now, and then finally you feel his lips meet yours.
This kiss is soft and a little hesitant, but it leaves you wanting more as soon as he pulls away.
"Would you want to hang out together for the night at this party?" Togata asks, his thumb ghosting lightly over your cheek before he drops his hand from your face.
"Definitely, Togata." You giggle, reaching out to place your hands on his shoulders and lean back up for another kiss.

You sigh into the dark room, staring helplessly up at the chipping white paint on your ceiling. You’re exhausted, yet your mind and body can’t seem to settle down and let you rest. Your insomnia has been getting the best of you lately, and it’s especially starting to interfere with your hero training. You tossed around the idea of sneaking to Izuku’s dorm to curl up in bed with your loving boyfriend, but you also felt guilty for potentially waking him up at 2:30 in the morning. You always seem to sleep better when he’s around, sometimes managing to lean against his shoulder and get a good long nap in, or find refuge sleeping in his bed surrounded by the undeniable smell of him while he caught up on homework or training.
Finally, you decide that you’re going to make the trek to Izuku’s room and hope that he doesn’t mind you waking him up. You slide your feet into the soft insides of your slippers, then tiptoe the familiar route through the building to Izuku’s room.
You gently ease the door open, wincing when it creaks slightly. Your boyfriend remains motionless under the covers across the room despite the disturbance. You close the door behind you as quietly as possible, then ditch your slippers near the door. Immediately, goosebumps rise against the skin left exposed on your arms from the t-shirt that you’re wearing. Izuku sleeps best when his room is cold, so naturally he has a fan running that’s cranked up to full blast. You take a moment to rub at the skin on your arms in a feeble attempt to rid yourself of the goosebumps, then quickly surrender to the cold and make your way across the room to Izuku’s bed.
Sitting down gingerly on the bed next to him, you run your fingers through his soft, green hair that’s even more unruly than usual from sleep. He looks so peaceful, so pretty sleeping that the thought of waking him up pricks at your heart. You also know that he’d prefer you come to him for help with sleeping rather than trying to tough it out and end up exhausting yourself. Knowing him, Izuku would probably blame the whole situation on himself anyway, so ultimately this does seem to be the better option.
“Izu.” You whisper, letting your hand untangle itself from his hair and slide down to cup his freckled cheek, rubbing at the soft skin gently with your thumb.
He stirs slightly, then his eyes flutter open, the green shade of them so brilliant that you can see how vibrant it is even through the blanket of darkness that covers the room. He instinctively leans his head into your hand, groaning happily at your touch.
“(Y/n)? What are you doing here? Is everything okay?” He asks, his voice gruff and laced with sleep.
“Sorry to wake you, I just can’t sleep. I haven’t really slept in days if I’m being honest. I was wondering if I could lay down in here with you for tonight? I always sleep better with you.” You admit meekly.
“Of course you can!” Izuku smiles at you, then sits up, letting the blankets fall from his shoulders. He reaches for your arm to pull you down next to him, but he gasps once he touches you.
“Your skin is like ice, (y/n)!” He exclaims.
“It’s no wonder, you sleep in an icebox, Izu.” You chuckle at the concerned look in his eyes.
Izuku swings his feet over the edge of the bed, then walks over to his closet where he rummages around for a moment before pulling out one of his All Might hoodies.
“Here, put this on and warm up some!” He says, offering you the hoodie.
You smile at him gratefully, then pull the soft, blue material over your head, relishing in how warm it is.
“Thank you, I feel much better.” You reply.
He nods approvingly, then lays back down, holding the blankets up so that you can crawl in next to him.
“Let’s get some sleep, yeah?” He asks.
You happily lay down next to him, nuzzling your face into his chest. You sigh happily at the feeling of his strong arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you closer to his chest. His fingers mindlessly traced patterns on your back where his arm hung over your body. Izuku presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, then rests his chin gently on top of your head. His hot breath fanning out against your scalp and the hushed sounds of his breathing coax you into a relaxed state. His front was warm against your own, a nice contrast to the cool air around you. After some time, the soft rise and fall of his chest gently rocks you to sleep.
Izuku can’t help but smile once he hears peaceful snores floating from your parted lips. He decided that he didn’t want to let himself fall back asleep until he was certain that you’re asleep first. He can’t deny that he’s been worrying about you lately, you seem drained in class, and have had to leave a few training sessions early. He didn’t want to push you to talk about it and accidentally upset you, so he’s relieved that you came to him about it first. He lays one of more kiss on top of your head, then allows himself to slip off too.
The next morning, gleams of sunlight that shone through the window drew you from your sleep. You’re still held tightly in Izuku’s embrace, and the smell of his body wash overwhelms your nose between laying in his bed with your face mashed into his chest, along with his hoodie that’s swaddled around your frame. You stretch out your arms above your head, hearing a delightful pop come from each shoulder.
Feeling you slip away slightly from his arms wakes Izuku, and he simply hugs you to him tighter.
“Good morning, beautiful.” He mumbles sleepily, letting his eyes fall shut again.
“Good morning, Izu.” You greet him back, letting your hands weave their way into the hair at the back of his neck.
“Did youu sleep okay?” He asks hopefully.
“I slept great! I feel amazing! Being here with you definitely helped.” You chirp excitedly.
“That’s great, I’m so glad,” He rolls over and grabs his phone from the nightstand to check the time, then turns to face you again, “It’s just after 7:30. Is it still too early for breakfast, or are you hungry?”
You gasp, and he cocks his head at you in confusion.
“I slept for five hours? That’s the longest I’ve slept in one go for ages!” You practically shriek.
“That makes me so happy! Wanna come over again tonight? I don’t mind, really, in fact I love when I get to hold you while I sleep.”
You can’t help but blush at his words, and lean in to give your sweet boy a quick peck on the lips.
