Little Speedster Tommy

"Uh huhs. Yuck." Tommy wasn’t shy to show his displeasure at something, especially food. He peered over the counter to see the toppings and gestured. "Is that brownies?!”

"That’s why we test things before we add them to the main bowl." Billy nodded and moved to the brownies, "You want brownies in here?"

Tommy nodded. "Yes I wants. If that 'kays." He wasn't sure how much stuff he was allowed to put in.

  "I’ll do my best," he snickered, amused by the kid’s Peter Pan complex. Then again, didn’t all children want to stay young? It was awfully cute, though.

"You pinky promises?" Tommy asked and held out the pinky finger on his right hand.

  "Well odds are I will give you all the safe candy after I scan it for bad things."

"Bad things...?"

"Alright for you I’ll be a zombie ok."

"And when you gets lots candy you shares withs me?"

  Billy nodded and took the cup away, tossing it in the trash. “Happy we didn’t get that one?” He chuckled and led him down to the toppings, putting a few gummi bears into his own and going ahead and putting Oreos in Tommy’s. “What toppings do you want?”

  Pietro laughed, dogding the kick He put the body on his shoulder. “You started it.”

"Hmph." Tommy pouted and then stuck his tongue at Pietro.

  Billy filled it with vanilla and chocolate before pausing at the green one. “Well it’s kiwi. I don’t know if it’ll taste good with Chocolate and Vanilla.” He grabed a sample cup and filled it before handing it down to Tommy, “Try it first, no need to ruin your ice cream with it if you don’t like it.”

"Kiwi..." Tommy sounded the word out and giggled. It was a funny word. He looked at the cup now in his hands and then poked his finger into the green frozen yogurt. After, he sucked on his finger before making a face. "No. It sours." It was a tart flavor.

  Billy grinned and nodded, “Yup! You make your own, you can have as many cookies and icecream in it as you want.” He was busy with his own bowl now. “You can even put in other candies if you want. You get to scoop it yourself” He was so happy Tommy wasn’t tall enough to do this himself, his wallet would be sobbing right now if the little guy could. “Just tell me what you want and I’ll make it for you.”

Tommy stared with wide eyes and an awed expression. "W-wow! That 'mazings!" He sped back and forth along the wall of flavors and decided on a few familiar ones. "I wants 'nilla and chocos and and and..." He pointed to another one. It was a fruit of some sort that he didn't know. What's a kiwi? "I dun knows what this is's... is it goods? It green. I like green."

Tommy wrinkled his nose and then kicked at Pietro. "Meanie!"

  Billy noticed the look and just smiled down at him before looking back ahead. He held the door open and walked in with the smaller mutant. “So you want oreos? Anything else?” He was already moving to get them both cups and start filling them. “Want vanilla?”

Tommy was staring at the ice cream or rather frozen yogurt machines. "W-wow! They comes from theres?" He asked as he ran forward to look at one of them closely. "They dun scoops it?"

  Jason blew a raspberry on his cheek, keeping himself from laughing at how damn cute that was. “Right back at ya, Tommy.”

Tommy laughed at the raspberry and hugged Jason again. “Misseds you lots.”

"Missed you more." He sat down, cuddling him.

"We should go does somethin's fun!"
