Orin uh. Still has not had some of the best experiences with animals, but with therapy he has been getting better with it. Now he just has an intense fear of being around them, out of fear of hurting them.

Orin does have an interest in rabbits, one of the only things he'll ever bother to learn (or can, really) about. He does hope to get one one day, despite the fear. Though he doesn't necessarily want one right now; his fear is still too overwhelming and his parents are not the sort of people you want to put with any kind of animal.

This may not make it to the final version of the show but, for now at least, sadie does have a cat. With it being mostly just her and Orin at home, she manages to handle owning them. Even then if anything really bad happened she's been saving up money to leave home (she is 19 after all) anyways, and also has friends she can stay with. In fact, she would've left by now if Orin didn't only have her to rely on, with their father practically never being at home apart from every other weekend (even then, he's mostly off drinking or something) and their mother being hospitalised.

Orin tries to be nice with the cat, which includes almost never going near it. But hey, maybe sadie will help him learn to play with the cat without the intense fear of hurting it!
