To say the past two weeks had been rough was an understatement. Ethan couldnât tell what it was anymore. There had been so much going on and he kept trying to just make it all stop. He had wanted a little freedom from everything. A few reckless nights only brought him more trouble. They made him sure that he wasnât going to be taking anymore big risks. He wasnât that kind of person. He wasnât cut out for it. He couldnât handle stuff like that. It only brought him more and more stress.Â
Ethan hadnât wanted to see anyone. Especially not Max. He had to now though. It wasnât like he had a choice in the matter. He was his boyfriend again. His body was telling him he needed it. He was in danger. The only problem was that he wasnât. Everything was perfectly fine, but he was drowning. He was dying. That mustâve been what was happening. It felt like that. It felt like his chest was being crushed so tight heâd shatter into a million pieces. It felt like he was being chased and hunted down by a hunger tiger, but he couldnât move. Max was right next to him angrily whispering at him to stop it. To âfucking stop being a pussy.â He was âembarrassingâ him. To get it together. He was trying. He was trying so hard. Max moved the cart away from him so he could stand in front of him. The one bit of support Ethan had was gone now and he collapsed. It couldnât have gotten much worse.
