Name of your muse: Eurydice “Red” Redgrove

One picture you like best of your Muse’s FC: I don’t really care for FCs, honestly, as I have my own idea of what my characters look like. However I do like it when I see someone who may be close, or give others a representation of what my ideas look like. 

Two headcanons that you have for your muse that you never told anyone: 1. Eury actually has several siblings still living. I’ve toyed with several ideas for the lives and make up of her family, but have never been able to stick to one idea, but I don’t think she’d have been the lone survivor of whatever befell her parents. 

2. She has always wanted a cat! Which is not really an IC secret, but sometimes, when she has the resources to, she will feed the strays in and around the alley where her flat is. 

Three things that your muse likes doing in their free time: 1. Drinking. Eury is easily bored and the atmosphere/activity of a tavern occupies her mind as well as allowing her to relax. She especially enjoys it when a brawl breaks out.

2. Reading: While living with Aaric, who had a decent sized library, she often was able to combat boredom with books. Eury also has a travel journal from her times at sea that she will break out now and again to relive the memories.  3. Badgering Keegan. Because why not?  

Two things your muse regrets: 1. Cheating on her lovers. :/ She has always held cheating as one of the few things she looked down on others for. Now, she’s joined them in that shame. 

2. Had to come to a compromise on this one: Basically the two times in her life where she’s chosen her own well-being over that of her ‘family’. Twice now she’s been indirectly or directly the cause of suffering for people she cared about. (Didn’t want to go into detail here, but asking ICly might get some details.)

Two phobias your muse has: 1. Death: Priests of Grenth, graveyards, ghosts, and the like. It seems to be more of a deep-seated superstitious fear than anything logical, considering her previous occupations. 

2. .Not sure if this is a phobia, but losing a loved one. Eury can be a bit over-protective of those she cares about. You’ll know you’ve got a friend for life if she fusses over your well-being. In some cases, she’d rather throw herself in harm’s way rather than lose someone dear to her, believing that no one else could protect them like she could. Maybe it’s the fear of being ‘left behind’ from her childhood. While it can be really irritating on a personal level, she does mean well.

Happiest memory: Currently, her days as a sailor/captain. Being surrounded by her crew in the late hours of the evening while at sea; drinking, singing songs, listening to Zeik play the violin, and dancing. 

Childhood trauma: Being passed over for adoption or being passed from home to home before being returned (she was a troublemaker). Rarely will she admit to this, preferring to pass it off nonchalantly.

PHYSICAL

Height: About 5 ft

Weight: (I’m not good with the height/weight thing) Around 110

Build: Trim/athletic, though she’s not as slim and fit as she was. 

Nationality: Ascalonian/Krytan (not known for sure)

Disabilities (physical or mental, including mental illnesses): Hands/arms are her weakest point. Though she’s dexterous, her hands (from the first knuckle of her hand up to her elbow joint) are always covered in thick, protective bandages due to an injury. They are sensitive to touch/pain and may bleed easily.

Complexion (freckles, acne, skin tone, birth marks): Pale with heavy freckles. A true ginger. Several scars, though most are hidden by clothing. 

Face shape: Heart-shaped

Distinguishing facial features: Freckles, rounded features that give her a youthful look, the usual small scars and pockmarks that most people have. Nothing that stands out particularly from the crowd. 

Hair color: Red/copper

Usual hair style: Down to her shoulders and straight with messy bangs. Her hair can become frizzy and wavy quite easily because it is fine. 

Eye color: Blue

Glasses? Contacts?: Nope. 

Style of dress/typical outfit(s): Darker, leathery colors: browns, blacks, or dark red. Hardwear/gold accents are also a plus. Eury is adverse to anything that makes movement difficult or is uncomfortable...or that isn’t pants. She prefers long tunics and coats that may show a peek of skin without being overly revealing. Also pockets. LOTS of pockets. 

Typical style of shoes: Boots with no heel. The more functional the better. 

Health (is this person usually sick? or very resilient?): Generally in good health. She does have a hand/arm injury that may affect her health, depending on the circumstances. She has a decent threshold for pain but it will still put her out if she is injured. 

Grooming (does she/he wear makeup? shower daily? wear only clean clothes? pluck her eyebrows?): Very little grooming required. She does like her hair a certain way (pls no touch) and shape her eyebrows, but showers come a few times a week or two weeks (I don’t imagine the average person has access to the luxury of baths, especially someone poor/lower class). Because of her bandages, she does often have a medicinal/herbal scent to her if someone were close enough. The character model in-game has makeup, but I don’t see Eury wearing it on a regular basis, if ever.

Unique mannerisms/physical habits (bites nails, talks with hands, taps feet when restless): She tends to be a bit fidgety. 

Athletic?: Yes -quick on her feet, limber, and a bit acrobatic - though less than she was a year or so ago. 

INTELLECT

Level of education (high school drop out, undergrad BA/BS, PhD, MD, etc.): Received some schooling at the Queen’s Heart up until the age of about 10. Can read and write efficiently enough, but she’s no scholar.  

Level of self esteem: Depends. Usually Eury has a sense of bravado about her, but there are many areas where she falls short. She tends to be more confident about her appearance, but is less secure in her relationships with others. 

Gifts/talents: Crack shot, proficient with daggers, smooth talker, quick and light on her feet, and sleight of hand. 

Shortcomings: Quick to anger, motherly (can be good or bad), flippant, struggles with alcoholism from time to time, impulsive, and at times paranoid and obsessive. 

Style of speech (loud, mumbler, articulate, etc.): Fairly articulate. She has made a life out of being able to smooth talk others and is usually quick on her feet with sarcasm. She’s also known to have inappropriate conversations in public.

A social person? (popular, loner, some close friends, makes friends and then quickly drops them): She used to be quite social, but as she’s gotten older, she’s come to value quiet and calm. Boredom usually sets in fairly quickly, though, and she feels the need to get back into old habits of stalking the city.

How does he/she think others perceive him/her?: Maybe a bit scruffy and rough around the edges. A bit of a mother hen or paranoid at times. She’s not often too fussed about offending someone. Does consider herself to be a bit of a temptress when she wants to be, and can turn on the charm when needed.

Phobias: Usually things dealing with death- Graveyards, ghosts, Risen, and corpses. 

Life goals: Just to be happy and loved. She doesn’t have any specific goals to achieve at this time. 

Dreams: Mostly being able to be comfortable and happy. Eury may have a bit of a skewed sense of what ‘happiness’ can be, and her desires for the details of how to achieve that are constantly changing. 

Greatest fears: Failing those she loves, being the cause for their or her own unhappiness in some way. 

Most ashamed of: Cheating on a lover. 

Most embarrassing thing ever to happen to him/her: Thinking that she was in charge of a group of thieves when in fact someone else was pulling the strings the entire time, then being booted out. 

Compulsions: Drinking, stealing...These might be more impulsive than compulsive, but old habits die hard. 

Obsessions: Money, mostly. She thinks about it constantly, whether or not she has any. 

Secret hobbies: It wouldn’t be a secret then, now would it? 

Secret skills: After spending so much time with Zeik, who was quite musically inclined, she brushed up on her singing. She isn’t great by any means, but he did help her focus and improve. She can also sew fairly well from having to patch up her own clothes and is fairly proficient in emergency field dressing.

Crimes committed (and was he/she caught? charged?): Most of her childhood/young adult life was comprised of petty crime. She has been arrested several times for petty theft, pick-pocketing, evading the law, damaging property, and being caught running rigged gambling games. 

What he/she most wants to change about his/her current life: Though she loves Divinity’s Reach, her time spent traveling and sailing has given her a sort of wanderlust and causes her to dream of greener pastures. She goes back and forth between wanting a quiet life elsewhere, and being submerged in the busy city life. 

What he/she most wants to change about his/her physical appearance: Getting back to her physical peak once again, maybe being taller so that she’s more intimidating.
