Yikes, I did it again.

To my future soul-mate: 

I would just like to first, and foremost, point out that I don’t believe that you actually exist. 

But, because this thought really bothers me and I don’t want to think that you aren’t out there somewhere, I thought I’d write to you. 

I would like to tell you that I am getting very impatient. As you will come to find out about me, I’m not a patient person in general. I’m not good at waiting. And, I feel like I have been waiting for you for a very long time. 

I’m lonely. I’m tired of feeling sad all the time. I’m tired of spending most of my time alone, of sleeping alone. 

I don’t even know you, I might never know you, but I already cannot wait to wake up next to you. 

Listen, I’ve been a good person for most of my life. No, fuck that, I’m a really nice person. I’m a great person. I’m an emotional wreak, but I’m great. I’m a fucking catch, you hit the jackpot! 

I just think that I deserve to have you sometime soon. Please. I think I deserve to have you. 

Also, I hope wherever you are that you are doing well. I hope you’re not sad or lonely. I hope you’re surrounded by people that make you happy. And, I also hope that you’re finding your way to me.

I’m still not sure that soulmates exist. However, I am much more inclined to believe they exist now. 

On Oct 31st 2015, a mere six months after writing this original post, I went out with friends on Halloween and was introduced to the man who is now my husband. We became very good friends and remained friends until we started dating on my birthday in 2017. Happy Birthday to me! We got married this past October, and I feel so happy and content.
