Leaning closer to him, her voice was just loud enough for Fred to hear.

“Now I don’t tell many people this, but when I was a little girl I was homeless. Because of that I don’t let myself judge people entirely on first impressions. Just because someone might be a ‘punk,’ as you put it, it does not mean that they don’t deserve a bit of kindness.”

Straightening up, Dorothy rested a hand on Georgie’s head. The elder grass type seemed much happier now that the Ivysaur had found a treat that he liked, and a pleasant aroma seemed to waft from the petals around his neck. The rest of the Pokéblocks and their case was returned to the trainer’s purse.

Georgie looked curious for a moment, realizing that Percival may not like sweets. Uttering a hasty apology, he took back the pink pokeblock. Snaking a vine back into Dorothy’s purse he fished out her Pokeblock case. A few more of the treats were taken out and offered to the Ivysaur, this time offering for him to pick one he liked out of them. 

Taken aback by Fred’s statement, Dorothy frowned. 

Next to her, Georgie didn’t seem bothered by the lick to his vine. Perhaps this wasn’t the first time it had happened? Snaking a vine into his trainer’s purse, he retrieved a Pokéblock, pink in color, and offered it to the smaller 'mon with a smile.

Fred’s question caused Dorothy to pause, slowly lowering her hand to her side. That was certainly an odd question. Was he maybe unused to people being kind to him?

Dorothy smiled down at the grass-type, kneeling down for a moment to give him a pat on the head.

“He’s in excellent condition! He reminds me of my little Georgie when he was a Bayleef.” Standing up, she retrieved a pokeball from her bag, releasing the Pokemon within in a flash of red light.

Next to the older woman now stood a Meganium, old but tough. With a yawn he looked around, gaze eventually resting on the smaller grass type.
