𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉

​As someone who writes OC x Canon and genuinely loves character creation (not just the main OC I ship with the canon character, but all the other OCs that serve the plot!) it used to make me feel so insecure, awkward, and even a little ashamed every time I saw people dragging this trope.

​Ofc, I always remind myself that not everyone is going to like what I write, and that's completely fine. But what really gets me is the pure hypocrisy!

​People will blindly hate on OCs, but then run to read 'x Reader' stories, which, let'sbe honest, are often just the author's self-insert OC hiding behind a 'Y/N' or 'Reader' tag. (Perhaps to get more views?). Out of all the x Reader fics I've ever come across, almost none of them feature a truly blank character. Every single one reveals the author's distinct OC in one way or another lol. yet people eat it up just because of the tag!

I actually love the idea of Snape having a child of his own. A child he could love deeply and unconditionally, without constantly seeing the face of someone he hates in the child he's trying to love.

1- He knows everything about you, from your favorite color to the exact time you were born.

2- He always tells you sweet things, but there are always underlying threats in them (not to you... or maybe to you too? lol)

3-​He's incredibly overprotective and possessive, and would absolutely risk EVERYONE'S LIFE to protect you.

4-If you're a sensitive, delicate girl, he wouldn't want you working around dark wizards or in any stressful job with harsh consequences, he knows it would hurt you mentally and physically. (He'd much rather suggest you run a cute little flower shop lol)

5-​He kinda gives off sadistic vibes (he actually is)

6-​Sometimes, it feels like he genuinely enjoys making you suffer... *cough cough*

7-​He doesn't want to control you, but sometimes he can't help it, he just wants to protect you🎀

8-You need to be careful around him.

9-He praises you every single day, but then stops for a day just to see how distraught and needy you become.

10-He loves making you feel completely dependent on him.

​He isn't just your professor. Years ago in your childhood, you shared a very special bond with him, given he's only 5 years older than you. But after being apart for so long, you've learned to keep your feelings strictly hidden. Severus, as always, puts up his usual cold n distant exterior.

​Still.. you catch him looking at you in the Great Hall, or in the corridors when you pass each other by chance. He clearly has a soft spot for you, even if he'll never admit it out loud or make things easy for you in potions class(lol, he, for sure will scold you). Yet, in his own quiet way, he always makes sure you're safe n secure~

​There's another female professor (around his age). She's trying her absolute best to win Severus's heart, but the moment she senses his disinterest and realizes that a certain student might be his true soft spot, she confronts you in private. She warns you to stay away from him, claiming you'll ruin his reputation as a professor, even though you've never dared to step out of line.

​The subtle, silent eye contact between you and Snape bothers her so much that it forces a painful distance between you two. Snape notices you pulling away, and though he'll never directly ask why.. deep down, he hates the separation. Because once upon a time, you were his only comfort.

I've been struggling with this all night.. even in my sleep!!!! I also want my OC to be close to the Golden Trio and Draco's age. (Lily doesn't matter in this story, lol. I'm just wondering if it would feel too weird for Snape to be much younger than everyone else.)

(And if you love to see a snape-like character in anime <3): ​You absolutely have to watch this anime. It's overwhelmingly sweet and pure. It gets heartbreaking toward the end. But don't you worry, it has a happy ending that is so deserved. Trust me on this one!
