Little Miss Minerva Mohs

Matt held her gaze for a moment, a soft laugh escaping his lips as he carefully got up from the bed. Though, instead of moving away from her, the young man moved to situate himself behind her, resting his back against the wall as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, gently pulling her back against him. He moved to press his lips to her shoulder before resting his chin against it. “I vote something funny- I’m not really in the right mood to watch something like The Notebook. Hope that’s alright, Minnie,” he added, leaning in and gently pressing his lips to her neck before leaning his chin against her shoulder once again.

As she felt Matt wrap his arms around her, Minnie leaned back slightly, snuggling in closer to him. Nodding and listening as he spoke, she gently placed her hands over his. “Of course! Did ya have anything specific in mind?” She giggled at the feel of his lips on her skin. Leaning her head back, the young blonde placed a small, gentle kiss on his cheek, before turning slightly and laying her head in between his head and shoulder, nuzzling in even clsoer to him.

Looking at Matt, the young blonde found that a small, soft smile crossed her lips. She reached up her hand gently, to place on top of his. She leaned herself forward, pressing her forehead to his, a smile still on her face. “Together.” She agreed reaching out her other hand to brush his hair back slightly. Moving slightly forward, she kissed him, letting her lips linger on his for a long moment. Pulling back, she grinned again before making an over-dramatic thinking face. “Something funny. Or sad. But something romantic. So like, Thirteen Going on Thirty. Or the Notebook. Or something along those lines.” She nodded, happy that he always let her pick what they watched.

Nodding, and listening intently, Minnie didn’t want to miss a single word he said. Matt’s thoughts were important to her, and she didn’t intend on missing out on a single one.  “Aw, thanks!” She grinned genuinely. “I mean, I like to think I am, but it’s good to hear it from someone else too, ya know?” She shrugged slightly.  Looking at him, the young blonde smiled as she listened to him speak. “Yeah, I’m starting work again at Emporium again soon, but I needed some time off to kinda get my school life together.” She explained easily, offering a small smile as she did so. “You’ll have time to be around people again soon enough.” Minnie found herself nodding her head encouragingly, not wanting him to feel bad. “Besides, it wasn’t exactly anything you could help.” She offered with a small shrug.  “Honestly, if they’re meant to be in your life, they’ll come back. And it’ll be like nothing has changed. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.” Grinning, she easily held Matt’s hand in her own. “I’m glad I’m here too. And I’m still glad you don’t hate me too much for leaving.” Se let her head fall slightly, still feeling bad.
