I'm not saying either of you are pedophiles but you are sexualising children's clothes, speech, toys, the word daddy. Yes real children aren't involved but you're still sexualising the innocence of children and the way they interact with their parents. I can see why it would be relaxing if it was non sexual but it actually turns you both on to having sex while Emily is acting like a young child?
Okay, let me start off with Items in general.Â
Seeing an item like a diaper or a dummy does nothing for either of us, itâs just an item the same as how a blanket or a bag or a lamp is just an item.
Seeing that item on a child does nothing either, itâs just a child interacting with that item.Â
Look at it like this. Kids kick balls around all the time, right? a big bouncy ball is a childish item? But when you see footballers you donât instantly look at them and think of kids do you? You see them as adults playing football, a sport. They mean something different. They are adults playing with that item.
The item is just an item. Itâs all about WHO interacts with that item and for what reasons.Â
An adult taking childish clothes or items and interacting with them means something completely different to what it means when a kid does. Try to understand that putting an item into different peoples hands for different reasons can mean completely different things.Â
So thats all I have to say on items. Now onto power dynamics.Â
In d/s (dominant/submissive) dynamics you have a higher person and a lower person. There are people who get off on power dynamics and roleplaying. We use items to reinforce simulated power dynamics.Â
Outside of play Michael and I are equal. We are both responsible adults, both make important decisions and are in control of ourselves. When in play one of us needs to be reduced somewhat so that the dynamic is clear. We like to roleplay to reinforce our dynamic. So we use natural dynamics in everyday life to help us distinguish the roles and then we go from there. for example
You have a boss right? they tell you what to do and you follow. Youâve been a student before, I am sure. You had a teacher who was in charge of teaching you. Youâve had a pet? You are in charge of that pet. Children donât make the decisions, parents/guardians do. These are all natural dynamics you see in all walks of life. We can even narrow it down to the nitty gritty and say in packs of wolves you have the dominant male and female of the pack? You have predators and prey, Â You see what I mean? These are just natural dynamics. In normal situations itâs just natural and you think nothing of it.Â
We just play into those dynamics and then take it to where we want to.
When we do petplay, we arenât saying we want to fuck animals or hurt them.
Itâs just a dynamic. We donât get sexually aroused whenever we see that dynamic in normal situations. I donât get wet when I see a puppy roll on itâs back for tummy rubs or fetch a stick.Â
I do get sexually aroused when I do that. When I, an ADULT HUMAN, behave like a dog, I am Diminishing my dominance and control. That is what sexually arouses us, me interacting with that item (ie the stick) is reinforcing that dynamic. I donât get sexually aroused when I see sticks or dogs playing with sticks.Â
The same goes for ageplay. (or for any play for that matter that involves power dynamics)
Iâm not explaining this to you so that you understand it, Iâm not trying to convince you or any one for that matter. I honestly donât care what you think about what me and my boyfriend enjoy together. I am typing this out so that the answer is easily accessible so if other uneducated berks feel the need to send me messages like this, itâs there. Â
Hopefully this makes sense and I havenât missed anything out.
