In the pursuit of gaining 'ilm, I am struck with the reminder of its implementation and practice! How foolish of me, to seek, and seek, and seek understanding while falling short in bringing it to life (through 'amal).

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

(Men are the protectors and maintainers of women,) meaning, the man is responsible for the woman, and he is her maintainer, caretaker and leader who disciplines her if she deviates.

كل الطرق قادتني إلى الوحدة، ولم يرافقني أحد،

All roads led to loneliness and no one accompanied me

فالتفتُّ إلى الله، فلم يتركني وحيدًا،

Sheikhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

"A woman needs protection and preservation even more than a little boy. And the more she is hidden from strange gazes, the better for her."

Sometimes, life feels blurry and heavy. You plan, you try, you pray… and still, you’re unsure. But that’s exactly where tawakkul blooms, in the quiet moments when you whisper “Ya Allah, I leave it in Your hands,” and you feel a calm wash over you.

‏"ومن تمام حُسْنِ الظَّنِّ باللهِ أنْ يستقرَّ في قلبِكَ أنَّه لا خيرَ لكَ في شيءٍ مُنِعْتَ عنه، وأنَّ رحمةَ اللهِ بالحِرمان لا تقِلُّ عن رحمته بالعطاء".
