idk about others.. but that is one thing i hope and pray Louis is assured of. Liam always spoke so highly of how much Louis helped him and pulled him out of dark places.

And the way Louis reached out. And was the only one to even support Teardrops.

I hope he just never feels he didn't do enough.

Louis has been through a lot, and it's just so disheartening to see this happen to him over and over again. This is the second person he's lost to this disease and I don't know what it must feel like as a big brother to go through the same harrowing pain of losing a younger sibling, or someone you thought of as one.

Louis, Zayn and Liam were so close during the 1D Days. They were almost a separate group from Niall and Harry. And when Zayn left, Louis and Liam understandably became closer. The fact that they were the two members who contributed the most to the songwriting side of things, only helped.

Even after the band, if there were two people we could count on to show up for each other, it was always Louis and Liam. Louis always looked after Liam, and Liam looked after him too. As an older brother, Louis has always been protective over his family and that energy extended towards Liam too. He was probably the only person to stand up for him after the Logan Paul debacle, up front and unapologetically. The way he called out Zach Sang- to his face, nonetheless, I'll always respect him for that. Even after Liam's death- For the record, Liam was in my opinion the most vital part of One Direction- was such a big fuck you to all those people who had been trying to write Liam out of 1D's history. He really said I am not going to let you rewrite history, not on my watch (excuse the pun). The fact that both Zayn and he had to mention that in their posts is itself a tragedy, but I digress.

"loulettart I'm here without words, with my heart in pieces, to say goodbye to Liam. Here to say goodbye to one of the boys who saved me as a teenager, to the kindest eyes and to the reason why I know English (because he was so speed during interviews that I had to learn this language).

Despite we can't know how they really are, what they really do and did in every day life, I spent the whole day and night mourning his death. Is like a part of me has been ripped off my chest and I'm sure it will never stop hurting...

I never talk about how One Direction impacted my entire life, they literally made me the person I am today, I met some of my best friends thanks to those boys and I could go on forever. So.. the best way for me to exorcise this pain was to portray him as that shy guy I saw for the first time, just like I will always remember him.

I'd like to share a little story about my son that's just a small part of what it's all meant to me.

I joined the fandom in 2014, a year after my youngest son was born. He didn't speak at the time he was "supposed" to be speaking, wasn't hitting all his developmental milestones, and was then diagnosed at a very young age as being on the autism spectrum.

Being a One Direction fan brought music back into my home in a major way. I'd been so busy with my career and becoming a mom that my love for music had been phased out in my life. But One Direction brought it roaring back in.

When my son was two, he was watching the Best Song Ever video...one of his favorites. It's fun and brightly colored and silly, and it made sense why he loved it. He started pointing to each one of the boys and said some of his first ever words, their names.

Youie. Ni-yaw. Hay-ee. Yum-Yum. Zack. (Sorry Zayn, blame the video)

Music opened up a way for my son to communicate. It has always been a major force in his life. He is eleven now, and he plays the drums and the violin and according to his older brother talks way too much.

I could never truly explain what this band has meant to my life and to my son. But I'll always be so grateful they burst into our life right when we needed them.

louis’ is celebrating their bond, their friendship, the love they held for one another that got them through so many tough times. it’s saying they will never get to stand on a stage together again but let’s celebrate the good times, let’s remember the love.

zayn’s is highlighting that they were just kids at the start, they were boys thrown together into an insane, unimaginable situation and they needed each other. they found solace and comfort in each other and no one else can understand what they went through growing up together but they clung on to each other.
