His small body is shaking so violently that Robby feels like he will break at any moment.

He´s half expecting Jack to grin victoriously at him, having gotten to the boy first, but instead he finds genuine concern in his eyes.

He jerks his head in Robby´s direction, commanding him to come closer. The older man hesitates, unsure whether he´s allowed to intrude on this intimate moment.

Jack sighs and pulls away from Dennis. The boy lets out a tortured whine, trying to cling onto him. Jack holds him at an arms distance and lowers his head to meet his gaze.

"Look who´s here sweet boy, don´t you want Robby to hug you too?" and whispers softly.

Robby doesn’t know much about age regression at first, he just follows his little’s lead and does what feels right. Eventually, he looks it up online, reads articles and bookmarks pages and guides so he can understand better.

He always loved taking care of kids and babies, so caregiving comes naturally to him. He’s very patient and attentive, always making sure his little feels loved and safe.

Nothing makes him more emotional than being called familial names like 'Dada' or 'Daddy.' He cherishes those titles.

Will blow raspberries on his little’s tummy to make them laugh.

Physical affection is how Robby shows love best. He’s big on cuddles, rubbing backs, petting his little’s head…etc

He never yells or reprimands, no matter how frustrated he might be. If his little really messes up, he might put them in timeout, but he’ll give it up almost immediately and tell them they’re forgiven.

His hoodies/sweaters/t-shirts are basically communal property. He gives them to his little with no hesitation. Seeing them wrapped up in his clothes makes him feel proud.

He will unironically watch Bluey with his little, and later recommend it to other adults/parents.

Jack has his own struggles, but being a caregiver helps him stay grounded. Routines, meals, and bedtime allows him to feel more in control. Helping his little feel okay helps him feel okay too.

He’s great with energetic littles! He runs around with them, makes blanket forts, and turns pretend games into big adventures. He tires his little out so they’re calmer before bedtime.

He’s very playful. Picks his little up, spins them around, makes silly faces, and chases them. He likes tickling and roughhousing, but always stops when he’s asked to.

He calls his little “buddy” a lot, or “little soldier” when they’re being brave or stubborn in a good way.

Can’t resist buying lots of toys and plushies. He’s bad at walking past toy stores without stopping, especially when he sees something that reminds him of his little.

Enjoys watching older nostalgic movies together with his little, and sharing things from his childhood with them.

When we first came home he was met with a few whines and small cries from his baby, after he showered all you wanted was him

When he was finally able to give you attention you were over the moon cooing getting slobber about everywhere but your mouth

You talked your little head off, Jack was a bit worn out he loved hearing your little coos and babbles after a long shift it brought him back down into reality for a few moments

Right now you were sat chewing on your first as Jack sipped a cup of tea something he did before hitting the hay for a few hours

“Oh yeah sweet girl, tell daddy more he wants to hear all about the missus night” he hummed gently wiping the extra drool from your chin with your blanket you sat cuddling for a few moments

After you finally got tired of hearing yourself all you wanted was to sit quietly in dada’s presence nothing more was needed right now

“Done speaking?” Jack said placing a hand on you to steady you for a moment as you spaced out taking everything in for moment

“Oh-okay I think someone is tired just just like dada and that means we need to” he cocked his head towards the open room

“Means nini time” he hummed knowing your whines were of protest of sleeping but your body needed it, not only sleep but just being with him was needed

“Oh yeah, we need nini time” he chuckled watching you rub both of your hands in your eye fussing a bit

He carried you and your bottle and blankie with him humming and baby-talking the whole way there

You turned your head a bit still enjoying dada’s finger and watching your show, Jack dealt with a lot of harassment at work but a lot at home by his own little one

He chuckled watching you so dialed in on what you were watching and his finger and not even acknowledging/rejecting your binky in turn for daddy’s digit

“I need my arm back baby..” he hummed gently popping his thumb from your lips with a cartoon like sound

He watched as you lost focus quickly and whined again for his finger pressed against your palate missing the familiar sensation

“Shh shh.. it’s okay sweet thing” he cooed adjusting you slightly

He coaxed your pacifier into your mouth gently holding it there letting the plastic nipple take place of his thumb just for a moment

“Shh, see daddy’s always got something up his sleeve doesn’t he?”

That comment earned a little whine from his missus who looked back up at him accepting your pacifier but not embracing it like daddy’s thumb

Jack chuckled down at you still holding the plastic piece firmly so you wouldn’t spit it out “I know it’s horrible that we can’t all have daddy’s thumb always” he nodded in solidarity

He loved seeing you get fussy over tiny little things because you had nothing to complain about much in your little life

He shushed your whines gently rocking you, really he took his thumb because it was sore from being bitten and sucked on for hours straight and he needed a break

. I feel like Jack would be the best with a kid/tween regressor, but he would be amazing with a little of any age.

. He doesn’t have any favourite titles, parental ones, nicknames - anything his regressor his comfortable with, though he’s best as an uncle cg or babysitter. Though if someone calls him his regressor’s ‘old man’ he’ll give a playful glare and roll his eyes. (‘uncle Jack’ is a secret favourite shhh)

. He’s definitely the one who people regress around most accidentally- he’s so casual about helping people out of giving small praise or tips, sometimes he doesn’t even notice he’s doing it until he has to refrain (will definitely apologise if he accidentally causes someone to regress at a bad time and will take care of them and the situation)

. Jack definitely has an ‘emergency’ kit on him at all times, with snacks, juice boxes, bandaids, and spare teethers !!

. a trouble-maker baby sitter !! will sneak snacks to a little in front of their cg like a spy mission, hands behind their backs but they always get caught when one of them laughs.

. will sneak vending machine money to his regressor like a grandma sneaking money to a grandkid- or will come and shake it in hopes of getting a free snack !!

. rarely ever gets ‘upset’ with the little he’s looking after unless they do something to put themself at risk or someone else, most of the time he’ll ‘lecture them’ but then whisper little praises (think of him telling santos off then telling her she’s a badass).

. Isn’t strict with screen time, will play video games with them- his favourite is mario kart, he isn’t the type to let them win every time but will every couple if their maybe feeling younger or starting to get upset.

. is big on spending time outdoors, will go on nature walks, cheer you on as you climb the jungle gym, and on the days where it isn’t busy he might even do a trip to a trampoline park !

. isn’t strict on his regressor cursing/swearing, as long as it isn’t aimed at him or someone who doesn’t deserve it, he thinks its a good way to express properly how you feel- and he also doesn’t like to restrict anyone of how they can talk.

. If he finds stickers left on his dashboard he’ll keep them there, he loves seeing the smile on his regressors face once they notice they’ve all been left untouched !

Caregiver!Jack Abbot & Little!Dennis Whitaker Headcanons🤎☀️

Jack usually ends up babysitting Dennis in the morning, while Robby works. He’s not a naturally perky morning person, especially after a night shift, but he finds spending time with Den to be grounding and calming.

Because of how attached Dennis is to Robby, he gets especially fussy and sensitive when he’s not around. Jack does his best to take care of him regardless.

Dennis used to call him “Uncle Jack” before they got very close. Eventually, after spending more time together, Dennis started calling him “Baba”

Whenever Jack’s on babysitting duties, he sends Robby updates and pictures of Dennis as they go about their day. Sometimes he captions them like mission reports.

Dennis loves being carried, and Jack is strong enough to do it easily (unlike Robby). If Den falls asleep in the middle of playing, Jack always carries him to bed.

Jack thinks Robby spoils Dennis way too much (it’s true). He notices how Dennis has a mountain of toys and plushies and always expects to be coddled and paid attention to.

Dennis was embarrassed about being padded around Jack. He avoided it the first few times, but ended up more anxious because of it. Jack never made it a big deal though, and always reassured him that it was perfectly okay.

At first, Jack didn’t know how to handle Dennis’ crying. He always assumed something was seriously wrong. But once he realized Dennis cries over literally everything, he stopped panicking too much about it. He learned how to respond calmly when it happens.

They went down rough and yucky but you knew you had to take it

You whined rubbing your eyes pushing the bottle away for right now, in too much pain to even think about

Michael took you back over to the couch sitting down with you in his arms as Jack went to get the heating pad

“You want the heating pad?” Michael asked rubbing your back

“Jack get her blankie too..” he said loudly making sure Jack knew to get everything their baby needed

Jack came back a few minutes later, heating pad, blankie, paci, stuffie and a few small things of chocolate that he found in his backpack

“Let’s get you all set up here..” Jack hummed looking around to plug the heating pad in

“You wanna stay on dada?” He asked you looked up at him basically defeated at this point nodding

“Poor baby I know it hurts I wish we could give you something stronger..” he hummed rubbing your back

The heating pad against your tummy, the bottle that you had pushed away earlier was currently resting on Michael’s chest and you were drinking off of it

The tv was playing a very low stimulation cartoon and your fingers fiddled with your blankie and your cramps were starting to calm down just a bit

Michael and Jack watched your harmonizing behavior you stimming against the blanket and drinking your bottle was like a beautiful ballet of regression

Jack chuckled watching your eyes get a bit heavy and snuggle even closer to dada now

“She just needs some love huh..” Jack teased Michale cooing at their little one

water still clings to the silver curls plastered to jack’s forehead and the smell of his soap is a familiar comfort that tells you that he’s there without you really having to look at him. curled up beside him you feel smaller than ever, enveloped by the warmth of jack’s presence— the kind that lures you further away from the noisy part of your head.

your hand tangles loosely into the fabric of his black t shirt, face nudging further into the hideaway you’ve made for yourself. jack’s chest rumbles faintly from his own soft chatter, already quietly reading the lines from whatever novel he’d picked up to calm himself after a shift at the hospital.
