Gay rights has been compared to the civil rights movement several decades ago. I believe it is a valid comparison. The next generation will marvel at how we (especially Christians) treated the LGBTQ community, much in the same way I am shocked and appalled at the treatment of black people in the generations before me. ALL people have rights.
