So cool that people are talking about this now. I’ve been taking showers in the dark for a couple of years (either candles or light from outside of bathroom peaking through from door)

Theres no medical research specifically on dark showers but there’s strong research on how light exposure affects your nervous system, circadian rhythm, melatonin and stress hormones. The whole idea comes from reducing sensory input and limiting bright light at night so the body can shift into rest state
