Oh not at all. Of all the things that could have gone wrong this is one of the easiest to rectify. *picks up 3 separate coin purses, 4 metal vials, 4 sets of cotton ear plugs, a metal bracelet, a set of handcuffs with 2 spare keys, 2 handkerchiefs, some snacks, 2 cloth bound notebooks (one blue and one grey), and a Soonie pup* Much less dangerous than a runaway carriage!
I- that's quite a collection you got... you've got more in your bag than I've got at- uh, excuse me. Please accept my apologies again. I was in a rush as my children held me up this morning and I'm running late for my shift.
The Foreman's probably gonna dock my pay again. If that's even possible at this point. Still, it is no excuse for carelessness. Is there a way I can make it up to you?

Well, witness statements to start. Has anyone seen money changing hands? My sister might be better at this than I. If you can get a way to look at his ledgers though I can definitely help find proof! Accounting discrepancies can reveal a surprising amount of information.

Other non-lethal attempt to aquire documents, probably by another noble house
Even those possibilities are low though. If one of them does occur please report back immediately with all the information you can remember. I will give you your tip at that time to supply me with that information. *smiles in a way that is supposed to be comforting but doesn't quite manage it*
I... *blinks* Sounds... fun! Most of those should be pretty unlikely as long as my metalminds don't run out. I'll be sure to try and write down everything in case something does happen. Normally people don't even see me moving around though, but... hm, if someone was trying to intercept messages, they'd be using Steelrunners, too, wouldn't they? Or Sliders, at least.

I believe that anyone trying to intercept messages probably would be either an allomancer or a feruchemist of some form. Steelrunner and slider would be most likely, though a rioter may also try to convince you to hand the message over peacefully. That is typically reserved for messengers moving at standard speed.
As for political espionage, there are one or two parties that may try to claim that your possession of that message is illegal and attempt to confiscate it. Do please try to avoid any such claims, though if they threaten your safety then surrender the letter. I have contingency plans for the possibility that our rivals aquire that information. If they arrest you, tell them the story and they will dispatch a messenger to our household. I will confirm your story to ensure your release.
