“oh, FUCKING hell.” mary exclaimed loudly, arms dropping to both of her sides. “which of you dumbfucks did it ?? who was S T U P I D enough ??” she spat her furiousities loudly all around her ( not quite sure who to aim it at just yet ). glowing red eyes shifted almost a thousand times. “i’m gonna rip out ya’ throat && feed it to the dogs.” STILL, no response. she huffed softly, — finally deciding to change her approach. “come out, come out wherever you are..” she sing-sang into the alley. “mary’s gonna find ya’.”
faith took a few moments to force air into her lungs, to calm the beat of her heart. finding the sheriff here was one thing, she liked him, he made her feel safe. but mary was the most twisted fable she knew. as far as faith was concerned, mary was even worse than the crooked man. still, she knew fear was the last thing she should show. taking one final deep breath, she stepped out. arms crossed over her chest, boredom displaying on her features. “your threats stopped working on me a long time ago, mary. and even if they hadn’t, i died once already. — thank your boss for that, by the way. — and here i am. no one for you to scare around here.”
