All the dogs I’ve been around and lived with I’ve never seen one that is so good at finding trouble!

Somebody really wants me to get out of my chair and let him outside!

My grandson had gotten a box of hot chocolate out of the cupboard and left 2 paper packets on the floor...by the time I got back to the kitchen I see 1 packet on the floor and I can smell hot chocolate. Immediately I look for the dogs, Maya, my greyhound/husky mix is laying on a pillow and Duffy, my ES is no where to be found. I head for the doggie door that goes out to the backyard and yep, there he is trying to rip up that package. I yell at him trough the door and he stops, looks up at me and then proceeds to start eating paper and all! By the time I got through the garage to the back it was all over but the little bit of chocolate evidence on the snow! It’s unfortunate that the dog door goes trough the outside wall and I can’t fit through that doggie door. Hmph, now I have to wait and see if a, he gets sick from the cocoa, or b, that paper packet doesn’t make it’s way through him...or both. Not looking forward to the next hours/days...and hope we don’t end up at the vet.
