Including her all inclusive honeymoon to Hawaii afterwards. When everyone gets sick from eating the seafood buffet at the wedding except for the 2 people who didnât eat the buffet (Olive and Ethan), Ami begs her twin sister Olive to take her dream honeymoon for her. When Olive finds out the grooms brother Ethan is going to take her spot she is hesitant because they have had a rivalry ever since they met. They go on the vacation guarded but end up spending some time with each other and figuring out their hate for each other was all a misunderstanding. They actually ENJOY the vacation and cannot fathom having to explain everything to their family back home.Â
Review
This book was a lot of fun and full of laughs, drama, and incredible circumstances. This book definitely made me want to go to Hawaii. My only gripe was Oliveâs attitude - she was a very pessimistic person throughout the story and instead of actually listening to people she would get stuck in her own mind and thoughts. She got better near the end but it made her relationships with everyone tumultuous which was a bit stressful as the reader.

Review
After learning more about Indian culture these last couple of years, it really made me appreciate how adorable this book was. There was so many times I was listening to it with a huge grin on my face because Rishi did something crazy or they had a moment together that was so cute. If you like light romance novels, I definitely recommend this one!
I definitely donât think Iâll hit 24hrs. After doing this for the first time I think it would be possible if you have books youâre really into. Red White and Royal blue was only okay for me - I loved the relationship and friendship parts but found the political part boring at times.
The Woman in the Window by A. J. Finn

Review
This book was a little slow starting up but I canât say I was ever bored while reading it. I loved learning about the complex world Anna lives in. I have been getting into psychological thrillers this year that have huge twists and turns in the plot and make you second guess everything youâve read and this book most definitely does that.Â

Yesterday my class received a mass email stating that some of my classmates were being rude to staff and patient last at one of the hospitals we have the opportunity to learn at.
I know sometimes nurses can be rude but that absolutely doesnât mean you can be rude back, especially as a student. If they donât like you, they may not let the school send student there anymore.
As for patients, I think some of my classmates think theyâre better than the patients. We have a lot of patients from all different backgrounds see us - but in the end, we are all humans looking to connect with other humans.
Iâve reached that point in boards studying where I just want it to be over with. Iâve been getting ~70% on my study questions and I want it to be over with so I donât feel guilty doing what I actually want to do.Â

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Rating:Â 5/5
Genre:Â Romance
Duration:Â 369 pages
[Caution: Spoilers]
This book straight up had me BAWLING last night while I eagerly kept listening to it before going to sleep. I rushed to my Libby app to make sure I could borrow the 2nd audiobook. The 3rd one has quite a long hold on it so I will have to wait a bit for it.
Synopsis
Louisa Clark is a 26 year old woman living in a small town in the UK. She has a fairly mundane life working at a cafe to support her family. Suddenly, the owner of the cafe closes down which leaves her out of a job. She starts going to a job agency where she tries out a few but she hates all of them. When hope is seeming to die out a job offer as a companion for a quadriplegic becomes available. She interviews and ends up getting the job.
The man she is working for used to be a successful finance man who traveled the world and lived life to the fullest. A accident caused him to become a quadriplegic. At first he gives Louisa a hard time which makes her job difficult to endure. Eventually their dialogue becomes more like a banter and they become closer.
This book beautifully shows their lives intertwining and Will encouraging Louisa to live a life worth living.
Discussion
1. If you were Louisa, would you have quit working for the Traynors? If yes, at what point?
Probably at the same point she tried to quit - after she found out Will was planning on passing away.
2. Were you able to relate to the way Will felt after his accident? What about his outlook on life did you find most difficult to understand or accept?
I do understand how Will felt after his accident. It was most difficult for me to accept the ending. I felt like he shouldâve gave being with Louisa a chance because even he said those last 6 months of his life were the best.
3. Discuss the meaning of the novelâs title. To whom do the âmeâ and âyouâ refer?
I think they refer to both Louisa & Will.
With Louisa being âmeâ and Will being âyouâ - Louisa wasnât living her life before she met will.
With Will being âmeâ and Louisa being âyouâ - Will was able to enjoy his last few months alive.
4. Louisa often finds Mrs. Traynor cold and judgmental. Is there an appropriate way to behave in Mrs. Traynorâs situation?
I feel like she shouldâve been more nice to Louisa - especially after she realized how happy she was making Will.
5. Why is Louisa able to reach Will when so many others could not?
Because she isnât a health care provider for him and she doesnât just see him as his disability. She treats him like a person and she isnât afraid of hurting him by saying the wrong thing.
6. Were you as surprised as Lou to learn of Willâs plans?
I was surprised but I could understand why he would want to do that.
7. Compare Louisaâs relationship with Treena to Willâs relationship with Georgina. Do siblings know one another any better simply because they are related?
Being siblings you have a lot of common experiences growing up so I feel like in that way you may know each other better. But as you grow older and grow apart you can definitely connect with someone on a deep level and and understand each other better.
8. Would Patrick have asked Louisa to move in with him if he hadnât felt threatened by Will? If Louisa had never accepted her job with the Traynors, where would her relationship with Patrick have gone?
I donât think Patrick wouldâve asked Louisa to move in with him. I think they wouldâve just stayed together because neither one of them likes to have the difficult conversations. I felt like their relationship was already dead before she went to work for the Traynorâs and they are just so different.
10. Discuss Louisaâs own secret ties to the castle. Would most girls in her situation have blamed themselves? Should Treena have behaved differently in the aftermath?
I think most girls in the situation would blame themselves but they absolutely shouldnât. Treena shouldnât have said to Louisa that she shouldâve have gotten drunk/high. Thatâs beyond the point.
11. What did you make of the way Louâs mother, Josie, judges Louâs decisions regarding Will. Is Josieâs reaction fair?
I think Louâs mother doesnât completely understand it and thatâs why she reacted like that. I also think Louisa didnât explain it well enough to her. She shouldâve said that she would regret it for the rest of her life if she didnât go to Switzerland to be with Will.
12. Before his accident, Will was a philanderer and a corporate raider who would probably never have given Louisa a second look. Why is it that people are so often unable to see whatâs truly important until theyâve experienced loss?
You get caught up in your own world and expectations from other people when you are in a situation like Willâs. You mainly care about looks and money and may accept a mediocre love as long as it contains the looks and money.
Every single time I eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch one of the squares, I chewed, gets lodged in my esophagus. I seriously thought today was the end. But I kept that peristalsis up âď¸ and the square went down đ
I donât know where my obsession with my skin/acne came from. I didnât use to care about it so much - everyone got pimples so everyone should understand.Â
My face has usually been fairly clear throughout puberty. I would get a couple pimples here and there but I was never the person who had their face completely covered.
Then within the last year I started getting hormonal acne - deep cysts in the region of my cheekbones and jaw line. They hurt and if you pop them, they will definitely scar because they are that deep. I think that was the time when I go more uncomfortable with my acne. I felt like Iâm 25 years old so I shouldnât be having to deal with it anymore.
Which leads me to touching it and popping them which leads to them looking more inflamed and leaving scars.
James says that seriously no one cares about acne. When I see my face I amplify how bad it is by 1000%. I KNOW I do this.
It may have stemmed from social media - where people on instagram mention how to clean your face to get perfect skin (btw no amount of cleaning will get rid of hormonal acne) & them obsessing over having nice skin which moved on to me.
I rarely where cover up because it just makes everything worse. But today I went out without any make up on. I usually feel like my eye makeup or highlight will focus people away from my acne. I just went out with a light sunscreen on my face to show the world I donât care.
I will probably go back on medication for the acne because they seriously hurt me and I donât want more scars on my face. But Iâm working towards not being so self conscious about something I canât help rn.
Saw this on fb after I posted about jolting awake all night đđ how is fb always in my head!!!
I think itâs because my boards are a week and a half away. Deep down I know I will be fine but itâs still scary. Itâs a lot of material to know and a lot of money to pay for a test.
