one thing i will definitely commend studio bones for is turning mob psycho 100 into such a colorful series because while some might prefer ONE’s more stark noir art style, which is what a lot of comics end up leaning towards (and i definitely prefer it in most instances) studio bones took mob psycho 100 and created such a vibrant off the walls expressive anime. the lineart is in green it is one of the first anime’s to use paint-on-glass animation episodically and in the entirety of its 1st ending the openings for both seasons feel like fever dreams the fights are fucking immaculate. mob psycho 100 as an anime is not only an adaptation of the manga but an emblem to animation people putting their heart and soul into something and making it alive. and sometimes that passion ends up straying too far from the creators original tone (eg mogami arc) but most of the time it only works to build upon and improve ONE’s series as a whole. i love mob psycho 100 i love it
