and diana, for the first time in a long time is caught off guard. such power radiates from the woman she had not even seen hovering above her, and yet the temple did not inform her. did she approach from the sky? a weakness diana would have to compensate.
“and just who are you,” she begins, book casting aside and blade slipping into left fist as she rises from her spot in the grass. “to demand anything of me?”
Syndra clicks her tongue, head angling with disappointment.
“Now, that was not what we agreed upon, is it?” she says with a frown. With a minor twirl of her wrist—unnecessary, considering she need only think to do it, but the theatrics are always fun—she lowers herself enough for the other to study her properly, as she did the same. Glowing eyes explore the armor of this woman, seeking hints of its origin— to no avail. She has truly never seen anything like this before.
Syndra gazes back up to her face, lips curling with amusement. This woman is angry, certainly, for how ready she is to point her crescent-shaped blade towards her.
“Don’t be so angry, my dear warrior. You may hurt yourself over it.”
