It was a battle, or so he thought. Ben was being attacked all of a sudden, and he reached for his watch -- turning it, of course, only to be quickly dragged off -- somewhere.

Finding himself somewhere completely strange to him, another world -- The other Ben? 23 rubs at his head before noticing the alien who attacked him before, slamming his hand down on the unused-as-of-yet watch.

  Dear lord or demons, he just wanted to go home - to try and recover from that humiliation he had endured of getting his ass kicked by children ( they weren’t really children, just mortal beings that resembled children to him ). And now, in his bout of exhaustion, he of course managed to go through the wrong portal somehow and end up.. wherever he was.

   But despite the tiredness, it wasn’t hard to pick up a particular child’s malicious intent. In fact, Jedah just lets out a sigh before dissolving into a puddle of blood right in front of the boy, only to reappear right in front of him, long and bone-y yet strong fingers clasped around his wrist with that odd watch and lifting him off the ground in the process. The demon could snap Ben’s wrist into a hundred tiny pieces, if he wished to, but he wanted answers first.

   “Because I could render you immobile before you get your hand on that device, you little pest. Besides, I would survive being kicked into space, without a doubt.” Tightening his hold on the boy’s wrist, Jedah lifted him up to eyelevel - glaring at him. “Now, give me one good reason why I shouldn’t do the same with you. As far as I’m concerned, your kind can’t survive off planet without help of your pathetic little machines.”

Man, this sucked. Ben flailed his free arm and legs -- actually quite embarrassed about being picked up, but also naturally angry and frustrated. He groaned and whined as he glared at Jedah.

“If you’re tryna intimidate me, that’s impossible. I’m just very, very annoyed with you.”

“Of course!” that is what he’s here for!

A wave of the hand. He’s not a superhero, he’s too… normal(?) for that. Or, well, he has his subway and that is a big enough place for him to protect, a whole city or region is beyond Emmet’s skills. He feels that would rule out hero-ing. “Ahm. Where I come from, most people can battle. So it’s not that cool. Im just a subway boss, not a superhero. I only fought crime once or twice. Some bad guys tried to mess with our subway.” That was team plasma, and that… is one of the few times someone has ever made Emmet so angry that he refused to forgive them. Maybe crime fighting isn’t for him, just because he holds a bit too much of a grudge. Leave that to the proper protagonist types.

“Dope? That’s good, right? I’m glad!”

Ohhh, so he’s not a superhero. But he has fought crime, so that’s cool he guesses. Most people can battle where he’s from? Weird... Weird... ... He doesn’t look like an alien. Maybe another alternate dimension? Boy oh boy, what a headache. Ben beams.

“So everybody knows how to fight evil?” But evil still exists... Aww. Unavoidable maybe? “That’s super cool! I hope the evil falls for good one day!”
