Eldritch

This took forever for me to finish 💀 I had a lot of fun making it though :)

I decided to try something new for the background. I picked a photo I found that matched my vibe and edited and tweaked it until I liked how it turned out! Idk how often id be doing this but it was great fun.

The original reference is a statue I found on Pinterest. Its called "Introspection" by Frank Somma. (As seen below) and I decided to change up the hands a bit :)

I had no clear idea as to what this artwork could mean, so its up for interpretation! The alternate version uses pomegranate, as to pay respects to the fruit's significance in Armenian culture. I tried to make the core of the pomegranate resemble the sternum, but otherwise just went crazy with drawing pomegranate "gore".

The story behind this is just that I really wanted to draw Zhou in his Ferrari suit ... with dragons. I also think it's a nice subject material for my first ZG24 drawing.
