we got beasts

I’ve been on vacation for the past couple of weeks so I haven’t been able to keep up with the account, but that isn’t important.

Due to the current Project Moon controversies and their business decisions, I have decided to abandon this account until further notice. Whether or not it is to be deleted or remain as an archive I will leave to my co-owner. If it’s not deleted and all of this shit blows over, I might be back, but I don’t know.

Ches seems relatively okay with fireworks, at least. He seemed to be watching them pretty curiously last night when he wasn't snuggled up with the other two.

Well, not any longer than usual, but it really felt like it. I was on outside duty for the better part of the day out supervising a new gorp Gregor limbus that was dropped off last week to make sure he was getting on well with some of the others we're housing. He's a little antsy still (pun intended), but really seems to be warming up to some of our gentler fellas at least!

Stuff like that makes the job all worth it, I think. Despite the fact that I felt like I was gonna turn into a puddle all day.

I am going to be So Tired.

They’re natural born hunters really, chasing after any small animal they can find like birds or mice, and if they get to it…

Good news: mom and dad adore the new limbi, and he gets along well enough with them. Their Binah was also up and about trying to play with him, which is where the bad news comes in.

Bad news: the poor baby’s terrified of Binah. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why until I got home, when I realized that Heathcliff is a norp, and Binah is specifically a ruina. Meaning she has yellow streaks in her hair, and her hair is starting to grey a little with age. Poor Heathcliff probably thought she was a Kromer or a Kraust.

We’re home now, and he’s comfy and cozied up with my ruinas to recuperate. Hopefully other acclimation attempts go a little better…

Hiiii, I’m Frost, they/them if you please, I work for a limbus, ruina, and lobcorp shelter and have three darling little creatures, as well as one I all but grew up with at my parents’ house. I’ve had a passion for ruina and lobcorp husbandry ever since middle school, but lately (especially with my newest little guy) I’ve been reading up on some limbus husbandry where applicable.

MY LITTLE GUYS:

-My lovely little Hod ruina has been with me the longest, around three years if I’m remembering right

-My… slightly mischievous Chesed ruina, who I got a few months after getting Hod

-The newest addition to the group, an adorable little norp Heathcliff limblet who I found abandoned outside my apartment building once (Hod is pretty protective of him, I think it might be because he reminds her of her sister lobcorp species)

I operate on Mountain Time, and have a pretty busy schedule from August to May with college and work, so hopefully I manage to keep up despite that.
