I don’t know if y’all remember but the reason he’s yelling at her is actually for a mistake that belongs to Mohan. Santos saved that patient and took the blame because she knew Langdon already didn’t like her and didn’t want Mohan to catch any flack. So before you say “Santos has never done anything truly kind” or “Langdon was right but he shouldn’t have yelled” please rewatch that scene and remind yourself of the context.

So, we’re talking about Samira Mohan! Here are some of my headcanons for her (feel free to add on) and also things I notice about her character!

I think that when she was a kid people that would fall/scrape a knee/run into something at recess would always seek her out and she ended up walking dozens of kids to the nurse by the time she got elementary school. She would often stay and linger to see everything that the nurse did, all the questions she asked, etc and she realized that she also wants to make people feel ok.

Only child daughter (which I also am) who basically raised her emotionally immature mother; this is why she knows exactly what to say to people to calm them down, she’s been doing it her whole life.

When she was younger she didn’t have a duct tape wallet business but one of her friends did and Samira handled all of the orders and money!

She was on the debate team for a year in high school but quit (even though she was the best on her team) because she realized how many men joined it just for the power trip of getting to talk down to their opponents.

She knows who she is and does not let people assume that her kind and thorough demeanor is all that she has to offer; it is a very important part of who she is but she is also much more than that

She doesn’t get a lot of time to read but whenever she does, her favorite poet is Mary Oliver (she also loves her collection of essays)

She wanted to be a tea drinker but just can’t say no to coffee (her place has so many unused tea bags)

100% I have Mohan as a social worker and as much as I would want her to be a middle school teacher, like me, I could very much see a firefighter Santos
