Astri is a sweet, kind, but sensitive and kinda spineless person. They want to live a carefree life, exploring, having fun with friends, watching cartoons, making art and learning about animals and stars. Unfortunately they are stuck in an infinite fight against Shady. But they don't fight alone. The magical girl transformation comes in handy too. He can create ghostly constructs out of starry matter and summon wings at will, but she hasn't really learned how to fly yet

He doesn't have a name and he doesn't want to, so everyone calls zir what ze is - Beast. Beast is some sort of demonic spirit, a shapeshifter with power to create and control fire. It lives in an old dungeon cell, sleeps on the floor, stores his clothes in some drawer, but has a closet full of unsorted weaponry. He knows how to use all of them and loves to do so. Ze is a selfish, rude asshole who hates everyone. Or almost everyone.
