You only have one life so why should you go through it just “dealing” with other people’s shit? It doesn’t make you immature if you choose to hate someone who hates you and move on. I have seen it first hand numerous times, being nice to someone that doesn’t like you proves to that said person that you are weak and gives them the upper hand. It’s a stupid assumption in society that being closer to your enemies somehow makes you more mature and strategic, but that’s only valid if you have a hidden agenda or revenge for your benefit, otherwise why are you doing it? It’s better to not associate yourselves with them so they don’t get the wrong idea.
