My mom never really noticed. She noticed when she was breast feeding my little brother and blood started coming out instead of milk.

My mother found a lump in her breast. The doctors acted very concerned when they saw her and wanted to operate almost immediately. They went in expecting to find a tumor about the size of a small egg. Instead it was the length of two of my thumbs and the width of three. It was stage four. She went through chemo and radiation and I watched as it spread through her body, killing her slowly and painfully over the course of about a year and two months. My mother and I had issues, but she was still my mother and I don’t go a day without missing her. I wouldn’t wish what she went through on my worst enemy. Please, pass this on. Serious signal boost.
