“What? Really? Please tell me he was flirting or something, and not pouting about Ara? If I hear him pout about her again, I think I might actually hex my brother. I’m trying to be a good sister, but she doesn’t deserve to be pouted about if she just left him all high and dry.”

“No, he smiled, like, once. And he didn’t cry. It was insane.” Beverly beamed. “She was cute, too. Even kinda looked like the little bitch baby Ara. Which made me think he was going to lose his shit altogether.”

Silas nodded. “Yeah, I was a Horned Serpent,” he replied. “I’ve never seen you around, did you go Ilvermorny?”

“Nope, I went to Hogwarts.” Bev shook her head. “I was in Slytherin. By far the best house.”

Kit turned around to show off her ass to her best friend. “What do you say? Better than my little brother’s?”

Beverly reached out and smacked Kit on the butt with a laugh. “Ha, yeah. One hundred percent, thank you for blessing me with your butt.”

Silas smiled a bit in response. “May I pay for yours? Or are you not okay with that?”

“That’s so sweet.” She smiled up at him. “Thank you, I would love it. So you went to Ilvermorny?”

“Yeah, I don’t remember him, I’ve heard rumors about him though,” Dillon commented. “Alison Wood and Joey Daley are here too.”

“Oh my god, you’re kidding me. I love Alison.” Beverly grinned. “I haven’t really talked to her since Hogwarts, but still that’s awesome.”

“But I mean tell them, y’know, nicely.”

“You say, ‘hey, please leave me alone fuckwad.’“

“Oh I’m so ready to tell my eldest brother that I have a better butt than him according to Beverly Helms,” Kit replied. “The real question is Charlie. Who has a better butt, me or Charlie?”

“Oh god, you’re making this hard.” Beverly pretended to think hard on it. “Turn around, I need to get a refresher.”

“Sorry,” he apologized. “And sure, I’ll get some cocoa.”

“Oh no, sweetie. Don’t apologize.” Beverly purred. “Sounds great.”

“I live here now,” Dillon replied. “You know live in an apartment in America. I don’t do the whole just traveling for a dumb festival.”

“What the heck? Why is everyone in America now?” Beverly frowned. “It’s crazy, Darcy Lang lives here, too. He might’ve been to young for you to know, he’s a couple years behind me, but still. I’ve seen so many people from school here.”

l“Sorry to disappoint.” He replied dryly. Truth was, out of everyone from school, he didn’t mind Beverly. Dare he say he actually liked her. “Nah, been here much longer than all that. Thought it might solve all of my attitude problems. Clearly, they were correct.” Darcy drawled, rolling his eyes.

“Oh, damn. That sucks. England is great, I miss it already.” Bev scrunched her nose slightly. “Why would they want to solve your attitude problems? Your attitude problems are great.”
