Sometimes, when Draco gets home, he is so tired. So very tired. Tired to fighting the evil, to defending fellow aurors, to witnessing cruelty, to being constantly alert and strong and capable. And then Granger comes, wraps her arms around him, holds him firm and doesn’t let go until he breathes out. “Shh”, she says, holding him and gently kissing his nape. And then Draco is renewed.

I happen to LOVE absolutely LOVE that fic and the chemistry and the banter between these two. This fanart piece is dedicated to chapter 22 where Granger is in awe and also slightly scared of our capable Auror.
