There's also the fact that not only have they taken over the main tag (that can be worked around by just not using it as some have started doing) but that if you tried to join the main RP, Surya already has been around for a while and you'd have to work out Tara's lore for this specific universe with that roleplayer. (But you don't have to, there's a guy with a Garanthar oc that just lives in another universe, distinct to the main RP)

Yeah, that’s another reason why I’m holding off on making an RP blog cause it involves keeping up with the alternate lore in that universe and it would take way too long for me to change Tara’s lore for that AU. Especially when I already have it all planned out for her officially🥲

Tara was only a toddler back then, but before losing her mom, she used to cling to Surya and beg him to show off his Tama to her because she loved the pretty lights. There was even this one time she woke him up at 3 AM for more light shows, and he just made a tiny little light ball to make her go away because he was dead tired and wanted to go back to sleep🥲

At first, they didn’t have a good first impression of each other with Surya being so full of himself and Ratri trying her best to humble him as gently as possible, with their marriage being arranged and everything.

Then they grew up with each other and even though Surya still was kind of a narcissist, he would tone it down a notch around Ratri and even did his best to listen to her. And it was starting to get even better once they became parents and had Tara. He was obviously a flawed man (and still is), but he really did love his wife and never remarried after her death.

Like every married couple, their relationship wasn’t 100% perfect, but they were still the best thing to happen to each other. And if it wasn’t that healthy, Surya wouldn’t have changed for the worse when he lost Ratri in the worst way ever😭🤧💔

Just hear me out on this one! To those of you familiar with ATLA, you can see tons of Asian themes everywhere in the show like how it was with Avatar, from the clothes to the food and even the names. And "chi-blocking", in this case, is actually inspired by a real-life martial arts technique called "Dim Mak" (aka "Touch of Death"), which is meant to disrupt the body's flow of internal energy.

Tamas are a lot like bending in Avatar and they're basically magical energy in someone's body. And considering Kal Asterock has a nurse who knows a thing or two about Tamas affecting the user, it technically confirms they really are like a literal part of your body. So how cool would it be if a way to temporarily disable them is to just hit the user's pressure points to disrupt that internal flow of theirs? Exactly like how Ty Lee can go up against benders and disable them.

Obviously, it won't be permanent and the effects will wear off over time since all it does is just block off their internal magical energy. Unlike how Ameline's power works and what happened with Falco, chi-blocking wouldn't take away or destroy your Tama: you just won't be able to turn it on as long as your energy's been disrupted throughout your body. And if you ever want to turn your target's Tama back on and get rid of their paralysis faster, just hit their pressure points again to get their energy flow running.

As OP as this skill would be, it would still have its limits. Like, one way this technique wouldn't work is that the chi-blocker would have to physically touch their target's body to manually turn their Tamas off, so it might be of a problem to use against Key once his power starts going haywire cause he would literally be too hot to touch with bare hands. And of course, some of the teams' uniforms have armor protecting their bodies like the Dragons and of course, the Knights, so there won't be much luck getting to the pressure points through them.

Now, the real question is whether or not using this would be allowed in Gorotama. We've obviously seen ourselves that violence is practically the norm in the game since all kinds of Tamas are allowed and things can get real nasty once you get into the zone. But you can still get a penalty if you do anything like outright assaulting a player or throwing them into the audience like Ragno did.

Would chi-blocking count as this since it involves using your bare hands directly on another person and not exactly a Tama? Tackling other players seem to be okay in Gorotama, so I guess physically touching them with anything other than a Tama isn't against the rules. Then again, the rules of this game are pretty loose as long as the audience is entertained and there aren't a lot of restrictions on exactly how much you can hurt other players, though you can still get suspended like what apparently happened with Ragno.
