I think i will be a part of the minority that doesn't like that deleted scene from the last episode of Vikings. I mean, seriously, what the fuck, that seemed like such a fan service scene that it made me a bit angry.  Yes i get it, fine, they had a party, got drunk and everyone wanted a piece of Lagertha (heck i wont mind it either) but it just struck me as a very odd out of story arc thing to do.  I always had the feeling watching Lagertha back in Kattegat that she was a bit out of place- that WAS her home, not anymore and she knew that in the beginning Aslaug didn't want her there, it was obvious of her teasing Ragnar that she should leave and let Lagertha stay. And then i lost how things started to develop. I knew that Aslaugh was grateful that Lagertha saved her husband's ass in a very bad situation for Ragnar but still it was clear that she didn't want Lagertha around. She feared her presence.  We had a bit of bonding and them talking a bit, but nothing serious!  Ragnar's interactions with lagertha were also really minimal, especially in the last 2-3 episodes.  To be honest it would have been more logical to hit it off with Athelstan and someone else! (a bit of a rant here sorry) 

Am i the only one that felt really uncomfortable watching Lagertha get beaten by unknown men sent in the dark for her? I think this was one of the most uncomfortable scenes i ever watched.  Also when they showed her face, I wanted to kill the guy myself. The whole showing of Lagertha in the new episode just made me feel so uncomfortable, I had to pause for a second. 

I'm just wondering how the fuck she married this douche at all in the first place, I get being a woman that time wasn't exactly the best situation ever, but rather be poor than to suffer this kind of behavior this guy was giving. I think the other people were also sick of his bullshit so when she did after that the other dude finished the job without a word. Also, I'm sick of King Horik and his shenanigans. I think Ragnar should wake up and realize that he can be the king and just off the dude-he's causing more problems than anything with his switching positions all the time.  Aslaug's story was awesome. She showed a bit more and trying to advise Ragnar, hope they work a bit on her character so she becomes likable by people.  Floki made me laugh. Also Floki and Helga look so damn cute together, i love their screen romance so much, it feels really real to me. Hope they get a child...  Siggy made me sad. She says she's not a whore, but yet she'll go that far not even for promises from Horik. That disgusted me. I like her as a character as in how real she looks in a lot of situations, but I can't really figure out her game yet- She says that she does it for Rollo , but somehow that leaves a feeling in me that won't be forever.  Speaking of Rollo- did his reaction indicated that he found out when she asked him what's wrong, especially after Floki's "No" ?  As much as they might fit together, I think Rollo is moving on to a better place- he accepted his place in the village hierarchy and he is trying to win back his brother once and for all. SIggy can't fuel his desire to be a Jarl of Kattegat anymore.

With only 4 episodes left i wonder where they would bring the show to? Does Ragnar have time to go back to England to have his revenge and bring back our beloved priest or he would be too busy dealing with home political struggles.  Also Lagertha and her story arc. I don't think we know much after she becomes a Jarl, but i know people (and i myself included) love her presence in the show so i doubt they will remove her completely but it will be hard to tie her to Ragnar's fate anymore (except helping in battle) so i really wonder what they would do with her. Im just happy she finished with her husband, because even if i know it's make up, the way she was looking just scared me so much , broke me a little, because seeing this strong woman being beaten and humiliated just made me feel like i want to punch the screen.

I watched again ep.8 of "Vikings" and I can't help but feel a bad mad at Ragnar. THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL RANT Maybe I'm thinking about things from modern day perspective, but can't help feeling a bit angry at Ragnar's way of behavior. I don't know if they didn't explain properly, but I think there might have been more times than just once that Lagertha looses a baby and things already start to look really bad for her marriage. I can't help but feel sorry for her, because she prays for sons and in the same time Ragnar is asking who will give him children. In his mind he's already giving up on the idea that Lagertha will give him more kids and maybe he's right (considering the time period) but it just pisses me off somehow, can't really explain it. Maybe because you see both of their wishes to the gods (so their true hearts desires) and she wants a baby again and her words "before it's too late" sound so bad to me, really makes me sad how she's still looking into getting things going again and Ragnar in the mean time is showing that he's looking for a new woman that can give him more sons. And that brings me to season 2 and how he wants to be with Lagertha and Aslaug , which is just so insulting to each. (can't not be honest- I'm more on Lagertha side of the situation) . The gods showed Ragnar and now he has more sons, what about Lagertha? Is it possible that later in the show, she might get a new son (even if from Ragnar) ... Just seems a bit unfair that he gets his wish and she doesn't and she loses a child and husband. I'm going into waaay too much thinking here, I know, but I really do like Lagertha and i wish that her story arc will be filled with a bit more joy, because right now, she seems that she's getting the most hits from the gods : - Loses a unborn; - Village plague ; Loses daughter; - Husband returns , he has been unfaithful - Aslaug comes , looking very pregnant ; - Ragnar being an idiot, suggesting a 3 way marriage ; - She gets to leave , even if by her own wish, i get the feeling that she left almost ashamed of what happened to her family; - New husband is a dick ; - Son chooses to stay with dad ; - Ragnar being stupid again suggesting for her to stay, it seems like he doesn't even think of how that can impact her or Aslaug .

And i will just add one more thing while I'm on a rant spree : Aslaug being all in for a 3 way marriage when she was the "other woman" and then being all whiny how she should leave and taunting Ragnar about how Lagertha is better and obviously doesn't want Lagertha or her son there just pisses me off.  No hate towards her, just the way writers decided to put things like that underlines how as it stands right now,  Aslaug's  character is being very poorly handled and put into bad situations where she comes off as a bitch ALWAYS.
