Title: A slight Crush makes You fall in love
Note: Another fan fiction instead of Gem cuddle i post exe creeds adorable angel and you guys guessed it right its hugh so i hope you give him some love!
During a rare break from their demanding tour schedule, the members of ‘Exe Creed’ gathered around a crackling bonfire on a secluded beach. The soft glow of the flames illuminated their faces as they relaxed, enjoying a moment of camaraderie and friendship.
Hugh, the youngest member of the band, shifted nervously, his heart racing with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Being the youngest, he looked up to his bandmates, who had always been like older siblings to him. Finally gathering his courage, he cleared his throat and spoke up, his voice slightly shaky but determined.
“Hey guys, there’s something I’ve been wanting to tell you,” he began, casting a glance at each of his bandmates. “I… I’ve had a crush on someone.”
His bandmates exchanged curious glances, all leaning in with interest.
“Who is it, Hugh?” Xeno asked, prompting Hugh to take a deep breath.
“It’s… it’s Y/N,” he admitted, his cheeks turning pink. “I’ve liked her for a while now, but I’ve never had the courage to say anything. Being around her just… makes everything better.”
The group fell silent for a moment, processing Hugh’s confession. Then, Ivy, the band leader, broke the silence with a warm smile.
“Aw, Hugh,” he said affectionately, ruffling his hair. “That’s sweet. We’ve noticed how you light up around her.”
Hugh blushed even more, feeling both embarrassed and relieved at the same time.
“She likes you too, you know,” Jace chimed in with a reassuring smile. “You should talk to her, mate. You never know until you try.”
Encouraged by their support, Hugh smiled gratefully at his friends, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders.
“Thanks, guys,” he said sincerely. “I think I will.”
With renewed determination, Hugh gazed into the crackling fire, envisioning a future where he might finally gather the courage to confess his feelings to Y/N the girl who had captured his heart.
Later that night, after the bonfire had died down and the group began to disperse to their respective cabins, Xeno approached Hugh with a supportive smile.
“You know, Our Angel ” Xeno started, clapping him on the back. ‘ Y/n is a great girl. You’ve got good taste.”
Hugh chuckled nervously, his cheeks flushing pink. “Thanks, Xeno. I hope she feels the same way.”
Xeno nodded knowingly. “Trust me, she does. Just be yourself, and everything will work out.”
As Xeno walked away, Finn came up to Hugh, his expression filled with brotherly affection.
“You did good, Hugh,” Finn said warmly, placing a hand on his shoulder. “You’ve got us all backing you. And hey, if you need any advice, you know where to find me.”
Hugh smiled gratefully, feeling a surge of gratitude for his bandmates. “Thanks, Finn. I appreciate it.”
Unknown to Hugh, there was someone else who silently supported him from the shadows — you, the hardworking housekeeper who cleaned only Hugh’s room. You had noticed the way Hugh’s eyes lit up whenever he talked about You . Over the months of cleaning his room and tidying his belongings, you had grown fond of Hugh’s kind-hearted nature and his passion for music.
One day, as you were meticulously arranging Hugh’s belongings, you overheard a conversation between Ivy and Jace about Hugh’s crush on You.
“Ivy, have you noticed how Hugh lights up whenever Y/n is around?” Jace asked with a knowing smile.
Ivy nodded thoughtfully. “Yeah, it’s adorable. I think he’s finally ready to make a move.”
You listened quietly, feeling a swell of happiness for Hugh. Despite being just the housekeeper, you couldn’t help but root for him.
“I hope it works out for him,” you said softly, to no one in particular.
As the days passed, you noticed Hugh’s excitement growing. His bandmates had been subtly encouraging him to talk to you, and you could tell that he was gathering the courage to do so.
One afternoon, just before Hugh was due to head out for a band practice session, you entered his room to do your usual cleaning. You paused, noticing a piece of paper lying on his desk. Curious, you picked it up and saw that it was a handwritten note from Hugh to Sarah.
“I’ve liked you for a long time now, You ,” the note read, in Hugh’s neat handwriting. “I was wondering if you’d like to go out for dinner sometime?”
Your heart swelled with happiness for Hugh as you carefully placed the note back on his desk. You couldn’t wait to see him later and find out how it had gone.
Later that day, as you were preparing dinner in the dining room, the other members of “Exe Creed” — Xeno, Ivy, Jace, and Finn — entered with knowing smiles. They gathered around the table, exchanging glances that told you they were up to something.
“Hey, [Your Name],” Ivy began with a mischievous grin, “we have something to tell you.”
You looked at them curiously, wondering what they were up to.
“Yeah, [Your Name], did you know that Hugh has a crush on you?” Xeno chimed in, unable to contain his excitement.
Your heart skipped a beat, and you felt your cheeks flush with surprise and a mix of emotions.
“W-what?” you managed to stammer, feeling a sudden rush of nerves.
Jace chuckled warmly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “It’s true. Hugh’s been talking about you a lot lately. He even wrote a note to You asking her out.”
Ivy nudged you playfully. “You’ve got a secret admirer, [Your Name].”
Finn grinned broadly. “Yeah, and he’s head over heels for you.”
You were taken aback by the revelation, feeling both thrilled and overwhelmed by the unexpected attention.
“I-I didn’t know,” you admitted softly, your mind racing with thoughts of Hugh and your interactions with him.
“He’s a bit shy, but we know he really likes you,” Xeno said earnestly, offering you a reassuring smile.
Ivy leaned closer, her expression kind. “Hugh’s a great guy, [Your Name]. You should give him a chance.”
The room fell silent for a moment as you processed everything. You had admired Hugh from afar, appreciating his kindness and dedication to his music. Now, knowing that he had feelings for you, your heart fluttered with the possibility of something more.
“Thank you, all of you,” you said sincerely, feeling touched by their support. “I… I’ll talk to him.”
With that, the band members exchanged knowing glances and subtle nods, silently rooting for you and Hugh.
Later that evening, after the dinner rush had passed and the dining room was empty, you saw Hugh approaching nervously. His cheeks were tinged with pink, and he held a shy smile on his lips.
“Hey, [Your Name],” he greeted softly, his voice filled with a mixture of hope and nervousness.
You turned to face him, your heart beating faster at the sight of him.
“Hey, Hugh,” you replied gently, feeling a surge of courage.
Hugh took a deep breath, his gaze earnest as he spoke.
“I, uh… I wanted to talk to you,” he began, his words stumbling slightly in his nervousness. “I’ve… I’ve liked you for a long time. You’re always so kind and… and I was wondering if maybe you’d like to go out sometime? Like, for dinner or… or anything, really.”
His vulnerability touched your heart, and you couldn’t help but smile warmly at him.
“I’d like that,” you said softly, your heart racing with happiness.
Relief washed over Hugh’s face, and he grinned broadly.
“Really? That’s great!” he exclaimed, his eyes brightening with joy. “I… I can’t wait.”
You chuckled softly, feeling a wave of affection for the shy boy band member who had captured your heart.
“Me neither, Hugh,” you admitted sincerely, your smile widening.
As you stood there, gazing at each other with newfound understanding and hope, you both knew that this was just the beginning of something beautiful.
As the days passed, you and Hugh’s relationship blossomed. He took you out on sweet dates, and you spent many quiet moments together, getting to know each other better. One evening, after a particularly wonderful dinner date, you found yourselves in the dining room of the band’s beach house, chatting with Hugh’s bandmates - Xeno, Ivy, Jace, and Finn.
Laughter filled the air as you all reminisced about the band’s tour and shared stories from the road. You sat close to Hugh, feeling content and happy.
“So, [Your Name], have you been able to handle Hugh’s messy room?” Xeno teased with a wink, earning a playful nudge from Hugh.
You chuckled, shaking your head. “It’s not that messy. He’s actually pretty tidy.”
“Hey, that’s not fair!” Hugh protested lightly, earning a laugh from everyone.
Ivy smiled warmly at you. “We’re glad to have you around, [Your Name]. Hugh’s been a lot happier lately.”
Hugh’s cheeks turned a shade of pink, and he glanced at you with a shy smile. “Yeah, [Your Name] makes everything better.”
You felt warmth spread through you at his words, feeling lucky to have found someone as sweet as Hugh. Suddenly, Hugh’s expression turned serious, and he cleared his throat nervously.
“Um, everyone, there’s something I want to do,” Hugh announced, his voice trembling slightly.
Curiosity filled the room as everyone looked at him expectantly.
Without further ado, Hugh stood up and moved towards you. He gently scooped you up in his arms, surprising you and everyone in the room.
“Hugh, what are you doing?” you asked, trying to suppress a giggle.
“Sorry, just wanted to hold you,” Hugh replied, grinning sheepishly.
Before anyone could react, Hugh leaned in and kissed you gently on the lips, right in front of his bandmates.
The room fell silent as everyone stared at Hugh and you in shock. Xeno’s eyes widened, Ivy gasped softly, Jace blinked rapidly, and Finn’s jaw dropped.
After a few moments of stunned silence, Xeno broke into applause. “Well, well! Way to go, Hugh!”
Ivy recovered first, smiling warmly. “That was unexpected, but sweet.”
Jace chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. “I knew you had it in you, mate!”
Finn grinned broadly. “Go Hugh!”
Hugh blushed furiously, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and pride. He set you down gently, his eyes fixed on yours.
“Sorry, I just… I wanted to,” Hugh mumbled, his cheeks still flushed.
You smiled up at him, feeling touched by his gesture. “It’s okay, Hugh. I liked it.”
Relief washed over Hugh’s face, and he grinned shyly. “Good. I… I really like you, [Your Name].”
You reached out and squeezed his hand, feeling your heart swell with affection for the boy who had stolen your heart.
“I really like you too, Hugh,” you admitted softly.
Jace chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement. “I guess we should have seen that coming.”
Finn smirked, teasingly nudging Hugh. “Way to go, little bro! Making moves.”
Hugh blushed deeply, looking a little flustered. “Um, sorry guys. I… I just…”
“You don’t have to apologize, Hugh,” you reassured him with a smile, squeezing his hand.
“Yeah, it’s cool,” Xeno said, his smile widening. “Just didn’t expect to witness a romantic moment.”
Ivy glanced at you and Hugh, a faint smile playing on her lips. “Well, it’s good to see you both happy.”
As the tension eased and everyone began to relax, you and Hugh exchanged a shy smile. His hand found yours again, and you felt a warm sense of contentment settle over you.
“So, are we still going to practice tomorrow?” Finn asked with a smirk, trying to lighten the mood.
Ivy nodded, her tone teasing. “Yes, and Hugh’s going to be the one on cloud nine.”
Hugh’s cheeks turned an even deeper shade of pink, but he couldn’t hide the smile that stretched across his face.
You leaned in and whispered to him, “I’m glad you kissed me, Hugh.”
He turned to you, his eyes sparkling with joy. “Me too, [Your Name]. I’m really glad.”
The next morning, after a night filled with joy and laughter, the members of “Exe Creed” gathered in the dance practice room. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as they prepared for their upcoming performance.
During a break, you decided to visit Hugh. You found him standing in front of the mirrors, stretching and chatting with Xeno and Ivy. His face lit up when he saw you approaching.
“Hey, [Your Name],” Hugh greeted you warmly, a smile spreading across his face.
“Hey, Hugh,” you replied, returning his smile. “How’s practice going?”
“It’s going well,” Hugh answered, glancing at Xeno and Ivy who were watching the exchange with curious expressions.
You stepped closer to Hugh, and without thinking twice, you reached up and pressed a soft kiss on his cheek. Hugh’s eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly grinned, feeling a rush of warmth.
“Um, [Your Name], we’re right here,” Xeno teased with a smirk, exchanging amused looks with Ivy.
Ivy chuckled softly, pretending to be offended. “Yeah, you could at least wait until we’re not around.”
Jace and Finn, who had been busy with their own routines, noticed the interaction and turned their attention to the group.
“Whoa, what’s going on here?” Finn asked, eyebrows raised in mock surprise.
Hugh’s cheeks turned slightly pink, but he didn’t let go of your hand. “Oh, um, nothing. [Your Name] just came to say hi.”
Jace grinned mischievously, nudging Finn. “Looks like someone’s getting special treatment.”
Finn nodded, a playful glint in his eyes. “Yeah, Hugh’s suddenly the favorite.”
Hugh laughed nervously, feeling a mix of embarrassment and happiness. “Come on, guys. It’s not like that.”
Xeno grinned, crossing his arms. “Sure looks like it.”
Ivy sighed dramatically, shaking her head. “I can’t believe this. Hugh, you’re supposed to be focusing on practice.”
You glanced at Hugh, feeling a surge of affection for him. “I’m sorry if I’m distracting you, Hugh.”
Hugh squeezed your hand gently, his eyes softening as he looked at you. “No, it’s okay. I like having you here.”
The room fell silent for a moment as the members of “Exe Creed” exchanged looks of understanding. Then, Jace broke the silence with a chuckle.
“Well, if we’re all done here, maybe we should get back to practice,” Jace suggested, his tone light.
Finn nodded in agreement. “Yeah, let’s give these two some space.”
Xeno smirked, playfully nudging Ivy. “Looks like we’re the only ones left out, Ivy.”
Ivy rolled her eyes, though there was a hint of amusement in her expression. “Oh, please. Don’t be so dramatic.”
As the bandmates returned to their routines, you and Hugh shared a smile. Despite the teasing and the playful jealousy, you both knew that the support and friendship of “Exe Creed” would always be there.
As the days passed, Hugh and your relationship continued to grow, strengthened by the support and camaraderie of the band members. However, as you spent more time with “Exe Creed,” Hugh couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever you laughed at Xeno’s jokes or shared a private moment with Ivy.
One evening, after a particularly long practice session, the band members were exhausted but exhilarated. As they began to leave the dance practice room, Hugh hesitated, noticing how you lingered to chat with Xeno and Ivy.
Xeno chuckled, glancing at Hugh knowingly. “Hey, Hugh, you coming?”
Hugh nodded absently, his gaze fixed on you. “Yeah, I’ll catch up.”
Xeno and Ivy exchanged a look before leaving, giving Hugh and you some privacy.
Once they were alone, Hugh’s expression darkened slightly as he approached you, his voice tinged with a hint of annoyance. “Can we talk?”
You sensed his frustration and nodded, feeling a pang of guilt. “Sure, Hugh. What’s wrong?”
Hugh led you to his room, the atmosphere tense with unspoken emotions. He closed the door behind you and turned to face you, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.
“I don’t like how you’re always hanging out with Xeno and Ivy,” Hugh admitted, his voice low and tight with jealousy. “It bothers me.”
You sighed softly, feeling regretful. “Hugh, they’re your friends. I enjoy their company, but you know you’re the one I care about.”
Hugh’s jaw tightened, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I know, but… it’s just hard sometimes. Seeing you with them, laughing and talking… it makes me feel like I’m not enough.”
You stepped closer to him, reaching out to touch his arm gently. “You are enough, Hugh. More than enough. I care about you so much.”
Hugh looked down at you, his expression conflicted. “I know, I just… I need you to understand how I feel.”
Suddenly, Hugh’s frustration melted into something else - desire. He grabbed you roughly and kissed you
Hugh kissed you passionately, his hands gripping your waist firmly as he pressed you against the door. His lips were urgent and needy, conveying his emotions in a way words couldn’t.
You responded eagerly to his kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him closer. Your fingers tangled in his hair, and you felt his heartbeat quicken against your chest.
As the kiss deepened, Hugh’s initial frustration gave way to a longing desire to feel closer to you. He broke the kiss, his forehead resting against yours as he caught his breath.
“I’m sorry,” Hugh murmured, his voice husky with emotion. “I didn’t mean to… I just…”
You stroked his cheek gently, reassuring him with a soft smile. “It’s okay, Hugh. I understand.”
Hugh closed his eyes, taking a moment to compose himself. “I just want you to know how much you mean to me.”
“I know, Hugh,” you replied softly. “I care about you too. I’m here for you.”
Hugh nodded, his arms still around you. “I love you.”
Your heart skipped a beat at his confession, and you felt warmth spread through you. “I love you too, Hugh.”
He kissed you again, more tenderly this time, his lips conveying all the love and affection he felt for you. The tension melted away, replaced by a deep sense of connection and understanding.
After a while, Hugh pulled back slightly, his forehead still resting against yours. “I’m sorry for being jealous. I’ll work on it.”
You smiled gently, brushing your thumb across his cheek. “It’s okay, Hugh. We’ll figure it out together.”
Hugh nodded, his eyes filled with gratitude and love. He kissed you once more, a soft and lingering kiss that spoke volumes of his feelings for you.
