So Mike is checking out El in her bathing suit and he wants to leave the life that he knows and run away with her ? And El is planning on dying so she can save Mike? Yet im supposed to believe the bullshit online that they broke up and don’t love each other ? Yeah okay sure Jan

I liked it, I really did, I’m not trying to be ship-brained or whatever but they really did not resolve Mike and Will’s relationship well enough, it kind of just feels like they chickened out of completing that story. I guess there’s enough room to say they could end up together later and that’s what I’m hoping but things like the painting never coming up and no one ever questioning Will on his crush at all just feels a bit like a let down. I will say I’m very very happy with Will’s ending. He’s accepted himself, he is so loved by his friends and family, he has a bright future, his abuser is dead and all that pain is behind him now. To me, he and Mike will end up together a few years down the line when the grief is less fresh for Mike.
