Lightning Week Day 7 - Happy Birthday/She Must Not be Forgotten

This is so so late but I don’t wanna miss it for the world-

Lightning will always be my main favorite out of all my favorites. My role model and inspiration 😭

I wanted to say thank you to @lightningfarronweek for doing this week. iv loved making contributions and seeing the wonderful things everyone has done.

I feel like this obsession hit me a little late to a fandom that’s not at its peak anymore. But I just love lightning for everything that she is. Shes a role model and a strength.

Here’s a special happy birthday shoutout to my first favorite ff character! And she still reigns strong in my heart!

A complex character, driven by loyalty and love for her sister that not even the gods could stand against! She had her sarcasm and biting wit always backing her up, and not to mention poor Snow and how he was always at the receiving end of her punches! Don’t worry big guy, they were full of love making sure that you were willing to put up with it for Serah!

Afraid to show her emotions after time forced her to grow up too soon, watching her journey and her growth that showed that maybe being strong all the time, wasn’t exactly a strength as she began to show her weaknesses to others and learned to trust!

That’s not even to mention design, as I think this gif should convey everything! She truly is a beautiful woman!

Thank you for being foolish. Thank you for learning. Thank you for growing. Thank you for backflips, behemoth steak, and being a solid rock for 500 years. Day 7 | She Must Not Be Forgotten

Since this is the last day I decided to do a second one because lightning week is just so amazing. Bit more spice than the first one.

“Hey there birthday girl” Fang smirked and took a seat next to her girlfriend who was busy gathering up trash. Taking huge amusement in the fact the woman still wore her purple cone hat. Whether she had simply forgotten or gave in to the others’ demands was beyond her, but either way it was quite the sight seeing lightning farron embracing such a fashion statement.

“Hey” the pinkette smiled warmly at her.

“You know, you could just leave it till the parties actually over” The pulsian chuckled putting her hand over the woman’s to halt her.

“I know”

Resigned, Fang removed her hand and changed the subject. “So did you get everything you were hoping for?”

Lighning threw a glance back towards the living area. Seeing everyone still in deep conversation she leaned down, “not quite everything” she whispered close to Fangs ear.

“Yea?” Was all the pulsian could manage as hungry cerulean eyes looked at her. It was at times like these she felt a guilty satisfaction in knowing this seductive side of her lover was all hers and hers alone. She smiled devilishly and pulled the woman down onto her lap.

“Yea” Lightning echoed before capturing Fangs lips.

Claire Lightning Farron has always been an inspiration for me, ever since I was younger. She’s strong, fast, persistent but she has her flaws and her weaknesses. She puts on a cold front and pushes others away, but she learns to open herself up to them. She’s caring and protective, she gave up her own childhood to take care of her little sister when no one else could care for them.

Lightning has gone through so much, is put to the test lots of times, and has lost her loved ones on multiple occasions. She’s experienced so much, both bad and good. And with the bad, she overcomes it to get the happy ending she and her family deserve after years of pain. Now she’s living her best life and it’s what she deserves.

Not to mention she’s beautiful as all hecc, so that’s just a bonus.

Happy Birthday Lightning. 🌹

LightningWeek Day7, Happy Birthday

The minute she walked through the front door she could sense something was off. The room was silent, which wasnt completely unusual but her senses screamed at her that all was not as it seemed. She closed the front door quietly, the faint click as it nestled in its place was the only sound to be heard. Then nothing. But she knew someone was here, she could feel it. She padded silently down the hallway gunblade in hand, swift and silent only to hover at the kitchen doorway. They were here, no doubt but still silence reigned. She tapped her boot purposely on the tiled floor and was rewarded with the faintest shuffle. There she smiled to herself, blue eyes narrowing at the kitchen island. She flicked the light switch and in one graceful movment lept forward and extended her arm ready for the intruder to meet her blade.

“Happy b-ah!” The group jumped up only to come face to face with certain doom. They looked nervously between the gun blade and its wielder. Lightning could do nothing but stare at the spectacle in front of her.

“Whoa didn’t mean to scare you sis” Snow laughed uneasily.

Lightnings brows furrowed at the accusation.“Tch. Dont be ridiculous, you didn’t scare me. I was dealing with an intruder that’s all” she said curtly placing her weapon back in its holder. Serah and vanille giggled behind their hands, earning them a harsh stare from the soldier.

“The look on your face said differently” her sister laughed.

“I was surprised that’s all” Lightning scowled, “I was expecting a few thiefs, but instead i find you lot”

“Well I’d like to think we’re better than a few thiefs if I’m honest” Fang smirked, holding her hands up in mock surrender.

Lightning rolled her eyes and tutted. “You -”

“Happy birthday Light! Can we have cake now?!” Dajh interrupted, popping up suddenly. The chocobo chick chipping in agreement.

Lightning week day 5: crossover

So I have a bunch of these comics that i havent posted anywhere yet. What better place to start.

Hi I wrote a mini fic @lightningfarronweek

It’s funny, Lightning thinks, how she’d first met Sazh over a thousand years ago. And yet, today is the first time she’s really spent any time with the guy’s son. That’s what happens when you give fate a good beating or three, she supposes. Now that that’s all over and done with, life is pretty peaceful. Almost boring, even. But Dajh’s presence is like a ray of sun on a dreary day.

The thing with kids is that the only thing that’s really consistent is their ability to surprise the grown-ups around them, for better or worse. Currently, Dajh is preparing to test the water rocket he’d assembled from a kit with some help from Hope and Snow (who was really more like moral support). There’s a big smile on Sazh’s face. It’s not fake, but there’s definitely some anxiety behind it. Lightning wears a small smile of her own, anticipating just what will happen. “Dajh sure looks proud, huh?” she hears Vanille ask. “Yeah,” Serah replies.
