Misty Islands Logging Company No.2 Bernard --- Misty Islands Scenic Railway No.2 Bernard or "Bash"

One of the two surviving yarding locomotives operated by the Misty Islands Logging Company, Bernard has been there from almost the beginning, and though he didn't help lay the original tracks to the first logging camp, he did help build much of the rest of the railway. He and Ferdinand took great pride in their work, and hated the implication that it was "bad" or "spaghetti" or "so tightly curved that Rex, Mike, and Bert would clench their spring rigging".

There is a misconception that Bash and Dash (David) are twins, but though the share the same overall layout and are very close friends and get up to the same kind of mischief that one would expect from the china clay twins, David and Bernard have some significant differences which will be shown eventually.

this is not life-threatening, but also who wants weeks of diarrhea and a fucking parasite in them lol. if you suspect you've already had this and it's passed, i would see a doctor. you might need an antiparasitic anyway. if you're actively sick, see a doctor and they might be able to prescribe medication to help you get over it faster.

try to avoid eating raw vegetables, scrub fruit with a produce brush and rinse thoroughly with water. again, don't bother with premade greens or bagged salads. if you buy lettuce, remove the outer 2-3 layers of leaves.

I wish fans and official writers alike would bring that up more often—it has a ton of potential for story exploration, that I sometimes see for the Bayverse movies but seldom for G1.

I try not to be an annoying G1 fan... BUt when it does the basic things so right, it's hard not to.

Yeah, G1 is a simple good versus evil conflict, but the few details, like the Autobots being civilians, really elevate them in that continuity. They don't have anything but small victories; the Decepticons are the ones creating new state-of-the-art technologies to kill more of them. They're fighting against an enemy with no morals and no goals other than conquering (eh).

And then you have modern(ish) continuities, whose writers, in trying to update the G1 mythos... End up biting off more than they can chew, being confusing, or being straight-up insensitive. I do not care for TF ONE's centrist story that ends in a religious war (c'mon). I really, really despise IDW2005's take, and consider it one of the worst origin stories that ever graced this franchise... I mean, making the Autobots nuanced shouldn't mean they're built on an institution of oppression, while the Decepticons are the revolutionaries who "went too far."

The Autobots can be nuanced within their code of conduct. I just don't think Optimus should be Jesus or beating people in the street (IMHO, cops shouldn't belong within the Autobots).

My post was actually directed at Decepticon fans, whom I, despite being what you may call a Decepticon fan, DESPISE. I just don't get how people can say they like the fascists but at every opportunity will try to woobify them! Please own up to it or switch it up (another subject, but some people would enjoy the Autobots way more if they watched anything other than TFP).
