~Lighting the way to the Future~

— “I don’t tell you the stories from when I was younger because I would like to think my children would not cause the same mischief I did. Or your father.” With a smile Yuuki patted her son’s head, a poor attempt at smoothing down his now tousled hair. She would have liked for her kids to still have respect for her, which was her reason for not talking about the past in front of them. That and it held memories that often would hurt too much to think about.

"He drank your blood?" He questioned, quickly turning serious, his body tensing slightly as he surveyed his mother's small frame warily, as if he expected to see some sign of injury still apparent on her, even after so many years.

"Calm down Ichi-kun, I'm sure it was nothing serious. As for father..." The female's expression darkened just a little and she nibbled her inner cheek a little anxiously.

{❤}— “You would believe Aidou over your own mother Ichiru?” seemingly hurt by the accusation the pureblood tried to look physically pained by her son’s claim. But the other statement offended her in a way making her puff her cheeks and cross her arms, “I know how to ride trains I merely had forgotten to get a ticket before hand.”

"Well...uncle Aidou DID know you when you were young...and it's the kind of thing you probably wouldn't want people to know..." He pointed this out as delicately as he possibly could, causing his sister to roll her eyes at him. She realized he was only digging a deeper hole for himself. Better to just apologize and agree with her.

"Ah...mother.." The younger vampire murmured as her mother embraced her tightly, nuzzling her affectionately...it hadn't been so bad when she was a child, but she was a young woman now and..it was embarrassing. She opened her mouth to protest, but quickly thought better of it, allowing the woman to indulge herself.
