The sword has a burnished steel hilt with vase-shaped pommel and a prominent acorn-shaped tang-button. the heart-shaped guard and knuckleguard are chiselled with scalework. The barrel-shaped wooden grip is bound with copper wire and foil. The sword features a one-edged blade with fuller.
