[swaggers in with a grin that’s clearly up to no good] The rum can’t be that bad. [slides in a spot next to her, looking around the tavern] What, too many rats got into the bread or something?

Age: 29

Role: Ex-pirate captain

Appearance: Despite her rather short stature, she's built securely and looks commanding from her life as captain with various scars and trophies from fights across her arms and face. She wears khakis. 

Backstory: Having lived as a noble for most of her early life, Lien had always wished for one full of more adventure, so she decided to do just that when she felt ready for it. Through various odd jobs and connections as well as people drawn to her drive, she became a captain of her own ship and crew even at the very beginning. However, as the course of life would take it, that very crew deemed her unfit to lead with her various injuries and attatchments to a few docking sites, thus leaving her there forcing her into retirement. Now she has a repair store.

          [As soon as she spots him, she raises a hand like an officer] It's because I'm fond of you that I'm telling you to turn back: this whole place is awful.

          "I don't know why it ended up being so much more complicated than it needed to be,”   She grumbles as fingers tug at her fourth bandaid now, no doubt more being needed in the near future both for herself and her company. The plaster is shoved against his cheek, brows furrowed before she heaves another sigh to speak again, thumb fiddling to peel off the backing of another.   "You really ought to learn more about being discreet.”

Nah, it won’t explode. Just smell bad. [Once the gloves are off, she presses her hands in, letting out a small sigh as the creature begins to turn to gold.]

I suppose so. That only means that at some point, we’ll end up wiping out the entire facility. I am shocked it is still allowed to stand with such terrible security protocols.

… [tosses her the keys] You know the way better than I.

          I won’t complain if they make it shorter than we anticipated. Even with those precautions, I’m sure we’d get the same results if we really went for it.

I”ll just transform it, I guess? [Puffs] It’s going to reek when the gold gets into the organs, I’ve tried this and it always sucks. [And a pause] Here, help me get my gloves off, will you? Just, roll them up and don’t touch my palms or fingers. They’re too gross to use my teeth.

I suppose I will be. I worry more about you. You’re the one that must actually infiltrate and retrieve the item. I’m merely here to… “take out the goons.”

It is not my fault the GPS was wrong the entire way. [spins the keys around one finger, expression thoughtful] Though I suppose if you wish to drive… [jingles them above her head]

          I’ve done this countless times before; I’m surprised they haven’t tried to make security a bit tighter, but that makes things easier for us.

Was someone hunting from their window or some shit? This thing has a bullet in it. [She’s trying to yank a bullet out that she’s found. Ugh everything is making noises.]

          I’m not too sure myself, I just got a complaint about it from one of the legionnaires who either saw it or smelled it out in this heat. [Tugs at a pair of gloves, rolling up her sleeves as she shifts over to help] Wonderful...

I’ll not laugh too much if I were you. I’ve died twice already and am perfectly capable of dying once more… and not coming back. [now the knives are going into his boots and up his sleeves - click, click, click]

          They were under different circumstances- when you’re caged in a building just waiting to be plucked away, of course your chances are slimmer than wide open. You’ll be fine I promise.
