i can’t believe i’ve had this blog for like 14 years. when i gather all my private journal entries and turn them into a book, will you buy it?

found a quote that i had written in a journal 13 years ago that immediately reminded me of my husband. looked up the obscure argentinian writer to see what other things he had written. husband comes home from work 20 minutes later and puts on some world famous gardens show and the episode he put on talks about how the argentinian writer i was just researching was the inspiration behind the garden. this is how you know the person you’re with is your person.

what is the purpose of tumblr these days? i’m asking as a mom of 2 that started blogging in 2010 as an adolescent idiot who needed a place to rant and post photos of things that seemed meaningful. going back through my posts it’s like … wow, bitch, calm down, and also where are the people who need to tell you how toxic your lifestyle is 😭
