STUDIO VISITS! I've had so much fun taking a peek behind the scenes of some incredible artists here in Vancouver through this bi-weekly blog series. Classic question: if you could have coffee with anyone dead or alive, who would it be? For me, it would be William Morris, the great 19th C. British artist/craftsman who produced the most magnificent wallpapers, textiles, furniture, books along with being a poet, socialist and environmentalist. (He's most well known for his patterns and for his association with the Arts & Crafts movement). I'm sure in this case we would sit amongst his beautiful designs and chat over a spot of tea and a fresh scone with jam and clotted cream. Sigh....
