This incident dates back to when I was stepping into an institution for my studies where I knew no one, and no one knew me. My anxiety was in its prime, and there was nowhere to run. All I could do was wait. And what happened next was worth the wait. This is the story of how a person I don’t even regularly talk to did something that made me come out of the cocoon. This may seem like a little thing to you from the outside, but it is moments like these that restore your faith in humanity.

I had joined a server wherein we used to play games, listen to songs, and chill. One evening, I get a text from a particular person because he misunderstood me for someone else. Soon after, we were talking on Instagram. I told him about how anxious I felt and how I didn’t know how to approach people and make friends.

It was after a month or, so I got to know that he told another girl (who now is an extremely close friend of mine) while they were talking that there is an introvert who doesn’t have friends and that it would be nice if she texted me.

You can perceive this in any way you want. But, to me at that moment, it meant something.

I am a dorky teen, an ambivert who finds her own openings but endings my dear readers is something that I have not found. Yet. This blog is a sneak in my life. Not that it is something extremely dramatic, but it is what it is and boy-oh-boy is it filled with all the shades of drama? YES.
