i wanted to draw them again to make sure i still remembered how to draw them. also some sad news about the project. nothing major

as you can see, the character designs are still not final. it's been a while since i gave an update on this project. i want to continue it eventually. i still love billy and mandy with a passion but i have been very busy working on other stuff, i think after i'm done with these 2 projects i've been working on i might have the time to keep working on this one <3 <3 <3

tumblr wont let me upload grimm's concepts and explorations but... lets just say you can reinvent the wheel so many times...

redesigns, explorations and new clothes for them, i am aiming for something realistic without taking away the cartoony feel. something perfect for angst with humor...

i'm here to explain the absence most of all; for starters, the comic is still in the wip stages, in fact the character designs have been slightly reworked, the overall style remains the same, and the project is made by one person, me.

why has it taken so long? well, mostly due to uni work and currently i'm just starting an internship. i'm sorry it's taken so long but trust that the overall story is finished.

i don't intend on making a very long series, i estimate something like 3 to 4 issues if we're talking comics. i want to keep it short and sweet.

well, at first, it was unplanned. mandy's parents wanted to move out of endsville. they were also considering mandy having to go to university. mandy at first wanted to go away and was happy to be rid of the people she saw everyday.

billy never wanted mandy to go away but was happy to show his support of mandy moving on. they kept in touch via phone from time to time until mandy just stopped calling him, during her university years.

billy never went to university or studied anything because he had to take charge of the income of his family after harold had a terrible accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. so he became a mechanic, which was his father's last job.

for mandy, life felt so much easier and better overall being in a big city with people that knew a lot of stuff, she didn't feel like the smartest person in the room anymore. however, university began and the child prodigy realized she was just like everyone else, and began missing endsville and who she used to be and how she used to feel more and more.

as for grim... it's a secret..............

this is a major plot point of the story and as much as we want to spill the beans the answer will have to wait, sorry!!

we are planning on uploading the fitst chapter in its entirety day by day, until then it's slow posting time
