The Morocco project is eradicating rural poverty in Morocco. Morocco is a middle-income country with estimated population of 33 million. The causes of poverty in Morocco are land tenure issues, frequent climate fluctuations, poor soil and water resources and defeat ion of natural resources, farmers' lack of organization, and little diversification of agricultural activities and insufficient access to finance basic social services and infrastructure, particularly in the mountains. There is a weakness of community organizations and lacks the necessary training and support to take charge of their own development

In APPA UN, we learned a lot about the importance of the environment around us. IFAD, international fund for agricultural development, is a specialized agency of the United Nations, was established as an international financial institution in 1977 as one of the major outcomes of the 1974 world food conference. It focuses exclusively on rural poverty reduction working with poor rural populations in development countries to eliminate poverty, hunger, and malnutrition, raise their incomes, and improve the quality of their lives.
