Upper East Side Trouble;

          [He cannot stand this joke of a man anymore, his fist flies from his side straight into Carter’s face, probably hurting himself more than him.]                     “You ever touch her again, I’m going to be the last thing you see.”

         "Again, I will stop when she wants me to."

“ Don’t think that was necessary. ”

"Let me have this, please!"

"So long as you turn up on time, sugar, that’ll be okay."

"Promise."

  “I’m calling your bluff, Baizen.”               “You don’t know anything about her, everything she likes, I taught her.”

"Well, then..                    -thank you, Bass, last night was great."

"But you look good in a tie, I figured you’d wear them a lot. Um, I don’t know. It’s up to you, darlin’."

"Well, thanks. I feel rather customized in them. We can meet up right there if you want to."

             ”—No one knows Blair better than I do.”

"You don't need to buy anything. It's the truth.                 "I'd show you the scratch marks, but we're not that close."                                 "Blair certainly enjoys those little wicked games in bed."

"I think I’ll go for the second option, definitely. Why do you hate ties so much?"

"Ties are just so forced. If I don't have to I don't wear them, that's all. So where should we meet up? Should I pick you up?"

"Maybe we have some of the same friends. —Well, I don’t know. I feel like we should go to the frat party instead. Shall I just tell Stella I’m sick?"

"Sounds like it. Well, you can lie to her or you can tell her that you're going to another party with this really amazing guy, who hates to wear ties."

   ”You don’t know what Blair wants.”                     “Stay away from her, Baizen.”

"Last night, when she whispered dirty words into my ear, I knew she wanted me."                        "I will, when she asks me to. Not you, Bass. She's not your property."

"Her name’s Stella. She’s… She’s okay, I guess. But if you were really hoping on skipping the tie, we could always hit that frat party tomorrow instead."

"I don't know any Stella, thought we could have the same friends. The frat party does sound more like fun. But hey, whatever you'd like to do."

"It’s just courtesy, no one really wants you here."

"Lies. Blair wants me here. Go ahead and ask her, but I doubt she wants to talk to you."

"I have this friend. She’s got an awesome house and she’s super rich and she has these parties— they’re like balls or something. Yeah, wear a tie. A suit would be good. Plus you look great in them, anyway."

"Sounds like about every party I've been at the past year. Who's your friend? I was kinda hoping I could skip the tie, but I'll get out my suit then."

"What are you still doing here?”

"I've been invited to be here, Bass."

"No, no. I want you to come with me. The assignment isn’t due for another four days, you can look over it whenever you want."

"I'd love to join you then. What kind of party is it? Do I have to wear a tie?"

"God, you’re so oblivious. I’m askin’ you to come with me, not to find me somebody else to go with."

"I was expecting you to want me to find a date so I can read over your paper that night and you can have fun, but I think I can do both."

"And second— there’s this party tomorrow night and I don’t wanna go on my own." 

"How can I help with that? I can't say I know that many people who would go on a party just like that. I mean I have friends, I'm not a completely loner, I'm just not... Sorry, I get caught up in myself sometimes."
