i forgot if i ever said this but when i was last in the philippines i visited my grandaunt with alzheimer’s and her house had like a lot of portraits including some nude paintings of when she was young bc she used to be a model and i even found a picture of her with Richard Nixon and my aunt was like “oh yes she was really popular with men, nixon especially liked to see her there’s even more pictures of them here” and later i google “richard nixon affair” and i found stuff about him having a mistress in hong kong and was like “oh dear god a filipina model could easily be living in hong kong in the 60s” and anyway that specific woman has a name and she’s different but like….. the probability of my grandaunt having had an affair with nixon is like definitely like, over 15% possibly much higher
