TO EVERYONE:

Just wanted to post a little blurb about how much of an amazing response I have gotten from various people in the Tumblr community (whether you RP or not).

At least once a week (but sometimes as often as five times), someone is either tagging/@mentioning me in a post, sending me an Ask, or sending me a DM to tell me they like my portrayal of Loki. Some of these people are also RPers, and some don't RP at all. I just wanted to say thank you all so much and that means a lot for me to hear!!

Truly, thank you so, so much for taking a couple seconds of your time to tell me you what you like/love about my character. You are so amazing and kind for that and I love it so much!

I graduated from a university in 2012 with a degree in Art, not in English or Writing, yet you guys make me feel like it's something I've mastered more than I thought myself of. Now granted, I did always get A+'s on all my school essays, I just always saw myself as an Artist first and a Writer second, so having gone through a rather horrible art block, I felt my lack in artistry must surely bleed into my skills for writing as well.

I've always felt like an amateur writer, not really serious business. I've had stories in mind that I hope to one day tackle like the bears and lions that they are, but for now, I've taken up RP as this awesome and dynamic entity called Loki.

I'm not really sure what the real Loki would ever think of this fictional character repping as him (and gods, I'm not sure if I'd ever want to, lmfao), and I have felt that other Loki writers portray him in a much more interesting and flexible manner, but I always appreciate everyone's kind words about my take on him. You make me feel like maybe I am doing something right with him.

This is my Loki. We've been through an awful lot together in RP land. I've been RPing him on and off for over nine years (since May of 2012). His emotions hit me so hard sometimes that I have to take a step back from him because he's so intense to get into the head of at times but he's just so amazingly fun and I enjoy every interaction he has with all of you.

So while you may want to sit there and praise me for my portrayal of this wonderful muse, I couldn't do anything with him if not for your interactions with him that help me explore the depths of his personality and his colorful history.

Thank you everyone who has and continues to be a part of this character's journey. Whether your interaction was a single Askbox question or through hundreds of thread replies, you're also what makes this character what he is today.

Here’s how it works (just from my experience):

so i was in front of Van Gogh’s Starry Night at the moma yesterday and this girl in front of me took a picture with the flash on (WHICH YOU DONT DO!!! EVER!!! BECAUSE FLASH IS TERRIBLE FOR PAINTINGS!!!! THERE WERE SIGNS EVERYWHERE SAYING NOT TO USE IT!!!!) 

so i said “hey, dont use flash” 

AND THIS MOLDY ASSBABY turns around, gives me the dirtiest look, takes ANOTHER photo WITH HER FLASH ON and fucking!!!! walks!!!! away!!!!!! and ive never come so close to beating the ever living shit out of someone before in my life.

Starry NIght is one of the most important, beloved works of art IN THE WORLD and youre such a entitled piece of shit that you risk damaging it just to get a fucking photo??????? and you know what? it doesnt even matter that it was starry night, ANY piece of art deserves to be shown safetly. just because an artist isnt famous doesnt mean you get to put their work in jeopardy. art is so fucking imporant to our histories and cultures, to our very humanity, and it makes me furious when people dont respect it. 

Sunlight, full spectrum, will FADE paintings, and can even cause chemical reactions in some that cause flaking, particularly those that have been restored with certain compounds. YOU ARE LITERALLY ERASING THE ARTWORK WITH EACH FLASH.

He has so far killed: a lion, leopard, warthog, bison, bear, caribou, elks, moose, rhino, rams, and so many other animals. This man is as dangerous as a sociopathic serial killer and needs to be taken off the streets for life. None of the articles about him emphasis the sheer multitude of trophy photos there are of him so I’m posting them here for you to view and spread if you want. 

HOW MANY CRITICALLY ENDANGERED ANIMALS DOES THIS GUY NEED TO KILL TO GET OFF?
