SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY APPRECIATES EDITH. SOB. That line about no one ever talking about Edith totes makes me so sad. But I feel like Sybil talks about Edith. So we’re good. Also that line about Sybil being the only person who thought Mary and Edith were good people. SOB. But at least we can go into Sybil thinking Edith is a somewhat good person. Though probably, um, not so much season one Edith, haha.

I feel like Edith has grown so used to everyone passing her over or expecting so little of her that she comes to just expect that of herself and, therefore, always expects that of people. And I think that really affects her relationship with her sisters. And while she probably does get on a lot better with Sybil than with Mary, I think she probably still resents both of her sisters to some degree since neither of them are passed over. She probably sees them both as having such bright futures while she is doomed to be alone that some part of her can’t help but resent them for having the opportunites that she feels she will never have.

But I can totally see where Edith would kinda ressent both of her sisters sometimes, b/c you are so right. And I can see where she and Sybil wouldn't always have a perfect relationship and Edith would make comments and Sybil would be like "Edith, how can you say that?" And they probs def have their share of fights, but they'd def have more good moments, too and I also think that Sybil's pretty compassionate and she'd always love her sisters, no matter what, and is much more forgiving than the other two, so after they've fought ad had it out, she'd be right ready to forgive and forget, haha. 

Anyway, right?? Actually, Sybil's ~family relationships are really unexplored on the whole. I mean, she has a few scenes with Mary and even less with Edith and like WHYYYY. I think her plot was mainly focused on her political views/nursing/Branson, but yeah she really has no relationship with Matthew and that's not cool, although you are right it def gives us the chance to make them awesome friends on our own. :DDD

Though Sybil’s face in that gif. Awww. But yes. The only real Matthew/Sybil interaction I can remember is that rally. So I definitely think an actual Matthew/Sybil relationship is needed. And awww! They would be awesome friends! And since we’re starting with season one when Matthew first arrives … ugh. I think that’s, like, perfect timing to delve into their friendship.

Niklaus Mikaelson had long ago learned the secret to eternity: enjoy it.  Klaus, for one, did not intend to loose his grasp on eternity and the ’20s were proving to hold a spark he’d scarcely seen.  Not only was he operating on a fine plan that would keep ears open for Mikael, he was involved in something that was exciting.  Klaus could brandish readily a mask, flit from face to face, and it gave this era a newness that someone as old as himself had to work hard to maintain.

This dinner party promised to be another such opportunity.  Now, he was to be a gentleman of English extraction, himself, who had come to America for some freshness with his four siblings - yes, now he had but four left to him, having lost Henrik so early and having been, regrettably, forced to dagger Finn in the 1110s.  But it was only his dear Rebekah who would be at his side, tonight, glittering in all her finery.  It would be intriguing, he felt, to think of England again, since it had been so many years since last he’d been there, but he felt no qualms in pulling it off, even with natives fresh from its shores.

The Levinson family was one of the wealthiest in the nation, and he was pleased to call on them.  Afterall, the Mikaelson family fortune was no small feat, itself.  Klaus had borne unspeakable treasures back from the Holy Land during the Crusades and that had been a mere foundation.

But Sybil had found everything about America to be new and fascinating. They were so modern here, so forward thinking. She had even met a woman who had become the Assistant US Attorney. 

Tonight they were all at home. Martha was expecting several guests to dinner, among them was County Treasurer, Nucky Thompson - the only person who Violet seemed to approved of - and several of his friends. The family had all been rather eager to meet the Mikaelsons, in particular, as they hailed from England. 

Sybil didn't get a chance to speak much to either of them before dinner, as her Grannie was more than happy to speak with someone from England, for a change, and Edith was always eager to talk with single men. That is, until Sybil was seated next to him at dinner. 

HAHAHAHA Mary DOES tho.  Which is why she needs Sybil in her life <33333  (WHICH IS NOW TRAUMATIZING THANKS FOR NOTHING SEASON THREE)

ALSO RIGHT?! Like she just thinks Mary is so beautiful and perfect and lovely and is like omg~ like everyone who sees her is just going to fall in love with her. Like look how perfect she is. And she's so proud of her sister and just aldkjfald'lakjsldfjaldksjf'aksdjflkaj

Yeah, he’d def be all ~best behavior at first but in his glib, careless way because WOW ORIGINAL HYBRID YOUR RULES DO NOT APPLY TO ME is basically his life motto.  But we all know he can still be quite charming, if also sadistic and mercurial.  But I feel that he’d be kinder to Sybil and kind of on best behavior around her (you know, the most human version of Klaus), at least until something came up, like someone shooting at him or probs just plain Jimmy because obv Klaus and Jimmy are bffs ;DDDD  Also, I feel like he and Mary would be like LOL DIE to each other for the most part, so idk how that’d impact her impressions of him.  Anyway, Klaus loves women who know their own minds, are unafraid to pursue their passions, and yet are capable of unspeakable kindness and I think it goes without saying that Sybil has all these qualities in abundance and he’d love/respect that about her.  Amongst other things but blegh word vomit idek what I was talking about??????  I’M JUST REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS, LIZZY, ITS NOT EVEN REASONABLE.
