How can you just sit there and eat pizza

Cole from Dragon Age is not a fucking child. He is a spirit who does not understand a lot of nuances of human life, social cues, etc. He is not a little baby who doesn’t understand sex or death. He literally murders people. He lived in a tower with a bunch of imprisoned mages and we know damn well from Anders’ dialogue that they sure as hell ain’t all celibate.

He’s also, ya know, a murderer?? A lot of the “oh he’s so innocent” shit blatantly ignores that or frames it as him not knowng ehat he’s doing. He just doesn’t understand why death in this context is so bad, but that’s not because he doesn’t know what he’s doing. It’s because he sees death as the only way to end a person’s suffering. “Giving them a chance” has only ever lead to more suffering in his experience—which if you know his FUCKING LORE you’d understand why he would see death as a more merciful solution. Especially if you paid attention to how the real Cole died. In his mind “giving them a chance” has only ever been neglect and a slower, more painful death.

He is not a fucking child. I’m sick of people downplaying everything that makes him *him* into “he’s just a little baby.”
