For a moment, Heather had to do a double take just to make sure she was looking at who she thought she was; that long dark hair was unmistakable after all. "Kuchel?" A soft calling of her name, and Heather tilted her head just like a dog would do.

“Heather ..." she said softly. She´d always recognize that voice. “Yes ... I ... I’m alright. Just busy, as always." Kuchel refered to her work as a midwife, which was particularly busy as of latley. She smiled. “That’s just the way of it, isn’t it?"

Why did she not believe that for a moment? The last time they spoke, that nobleman was after her, sending goons instead of a proper letter; maybe that was the reason behind her unease. "Nothing to report, ma'am." An automated response, some things never change.

I don't want to attack anyone personally here, but it's time I got a few things off my chest.

When I witness that OCs, especially POC OCs or those who don't conform to typical beauty standards (and also happen to be female most of the times), are deliberately excluded or criticized because of their appearance, and told that they should change their appearance and looks design wise since "it would look prettier on her", then I want nothing to do with you!

I live for character diversity, and even though my Attack on Titan OCs are the epitome of typical white people from the North, they are still not my only fandom OCs. I love diversity and individuality, and there are no rules or laws about what an OC should look like or how they should behave. It's TOTALLY OKAY to like a certain aesthetic when it comes to character design, but that shouldn't be a reason to purposely exclude other OC creators who enjoy a different aesthetic and design their characters to be more unique than yours.

If you don't like the OC, just let it be and keep quiet! Don't criticize the OC towards the creator because that's just disrespectful and extremely gutless, as nobody would say something like that directly to their face.
